Morning Tour to Ribeauville and Kaysersberg

Visit Ribeauville, a charming 13th century town with many Renaissance fountains. Created by the powerful Counts of Ribeaupierre, the romantic ruins of their Castles still dominate the town. The Church of the Augustines Convent, the 13th century Butchers' Towers and its numerous narrow streets create a special atmosphere.

Drive through picturesque villages along the Wine Route with stopover at Kaysersberg, birthplace of Doctor Albert Schweitzer (Nobel Peace Price in 1953). The "Mount of the Emperor" crossed by the singing "Weiss" River, is situated right at the foot of the Vosges Mountains. Kaysersberg brilliantly managed to preserve its clean natural environment and its rich historical heritage.
