We had a wonderful time. The guide was great and there was plenty of wine and cheese. The city is beautiful at night with all of the lights.

What a fun tour! Amsterdam can be hot during the day, so this evening tour was perfect and it was fun to be cheered on by people dining canal side. I would recommend it to anyone.

Took the Mrs. for her 40th, and it was absolutely fantastic!! Guide was very funny and made it perfect!! It wasn't by candlelight, and everywhere wasn't lit up as stated and shown in the pictures, which was the reason I bought the tickets--cause it just looked so romantic--but you can't win them all! Definitely recommend to anyone visiting Amsterdam!!!!

A lovely, lovely trip. We did it on my husband's 40th birthday, and he said it was the best boat trip he'd ever done. Great guide, and Captain, a lot of fun.

This is a really pleasant way to spend an evening and get the orientation of the city. They give you a map to follow your journey. Enough information was given to inform one of potential sites to visit, but not so much to spoil the ambiance. The guide was knowledgeable and witty. It was exclusively in English, so one did not have to listen to the same thing being said in four languages. Highly recommended.

This was a very good value for money. We had a knowledgeable guide who made a successful attempt to be friendly with everyone. We also appreciated the unlimited wine and tasty nibbles. It felt like a treat.

It was the perfect end to a day of traveling, as we did the cruise the same day as flying out to Amsterdam. It was very informative and it allowed us to get our bearings for the rest of the trip. There were only two choices of cheese, but the wine was nice and there was plenty of both. The captain and the guides were terrific fun. I highly recommend this trip.

My fiance and I went the night of our engagement and had a wonderful time. The guide was informative and cheerful and greeted us warmly as we boarded. We indulged in plenty of wine and great Dutch cheeses the best cheese I have ever had and a small mix of spiced nuts. Our cruise was on Saturday evening and we were still able to have a table to ourselves. Great way to see the city!

My wife and I highly recommend that first-timers to Amsterdam book this canal cruise for their first night. We treated our college aged daughter in May and it was well worth the reasonable fee to spend 2 leisurely hours slowly maneuvering the canals sipping wine and eating snacks and cheese. We felt this was much more relaxing and low-key than a dinner or theme cruise. The narration was interesting and was in both English and German. The tables are set up in semi-circles so 6 can sit comfortably at each one. The view gave us a unique view of the city and a glimpse into the life of those who live in the 1000 house boats. After the cruise we still had two hours to spend walking around the same areas we had just boated through. Would be perfect also for a private group of 30 50 persons. We will be back!!!
