The trip was really good, food was excellent, although the portions could have been a bit bigger!! It would have been better if there had been a commentary on the boat, but overall I would definitely recommend it!

We enjoyed the great food & fabulous service on a clear winter evening in Amsterdam!

The food on the dinner cruise was top-class as was the service. The only things that could be improved are a the on-line booking doesn't say where the trip departs from - there are several cruise lines so this can cause confusion and there is no commentary - while a continuous commentary would be intrusive an occasional comment on the sights would be nice.

My husband and I took this canal dinner cruise on the last night of our trip to Amsterdam. It was very easy to locate the meeting point. The staff were friendly and helpful when we arrived. Once on board, we were shown to our table, which was beautifully laid out, flower and all! We were lucky to have a table to ourselves; most couples were with another. When the cruise began, we were introduced to the waiters, chef and captain. All very friendly! Then we were handed a glass of champagne! The food soon followed, every course was wonderful! The sights we saw on the cruise were sooo romantic!! We hadn't had a day cruise and didn't know where we were a lot of the time, so it would have been nice to have some local information thrown in. You cannot smoke while on this tour so watch out. It was lovely though!! Very romantic!!!

We booked this event as a special celebration for our first wedding anniversary. The service, food and experience was great and could not be faulted in any way. This is something that should be done towards the beginning and end of year though to take full advantage of the dark evenings to get the most from the illuminations.

Food was wonderful, might have been a little too long though.

We were very happy with the dinner with one tiny little comment. We arrived very early and were the second ones on the boat. Apparently we missed the menu selection on the reservation form and when we learned that my wife's selection could be salmon instead of turkey we asked if it would be possible to change it. We were told that we would have to go down to the booking office and make the change - that the crew who didn't seem to be very busy could not do that for us. Given what we'd paid for the cruise and dinner, we were very surprised. The chef was very creative with most of the elements of dinner, but the entre was luke warm.

This was a great trip. People were friendly, and couldn't have been better on supplying information on the site, which is already easy enough to find. Overall, this was a very pleasant experience.

Great trip with very good food and plentiful service. A packed boat made for a lively atmosphere with a real buzz. Pity they don't play some soft background music and it could have been a tad warmer but other than that - spot on and value for money.

Not the atmosphere we were expecting, possibly because of under occupancy. The meal although acceptable was not as good as we had hoped as we were not offered any choice for main course. However to see Amsterdam in darkness from the canals and to glimpse into the beautiful homes and houseboats along the way - an excellent way to spend the evening.

The sights and lights were beautiful! The food was delicious, which was a surprise! I just wish there had been more commentary, but I would still highly recommend this trip.

Lovely to see this beautiful city by night! All the lights, have a look into the residents life at the houseboats and the lovely apartments along the canals was amasing!! Food was good but a bit cold once we got served. Understandable though when you are on a boat. Highly recommend especially at winter time when it is dark and cosy!

I really enjoyed the evening, and on the whole the food was good. The pasta option was the least successful. I was glad to see some Dutch people on the trip as well as the tourists, and the group on our trip had great fun and made it better for all of us. I thought it was good value for money and certainly worth doing.
