Was nice to experience the canals of Amsterdam but value for money could've been improved by providing food of a better standard and bottles of wine on the table rather than having to wait on top-ups.

When we arrived at the dock, no-one seemed to have a clue what was going on and we were left in the VIP lounge which I would actually more accurately describe as a portakabin.
However, the major problem was that I had paid extra guaranteeing us a table for two and when we eventually got on the boat it was heavily overbooked and we were asked to share a table with another couple, on Valentines Day, or come back tomorrow. I was really annoyed but after some discussion, the other couple got their money back and the river cruise was actually really nice, even though the food was cold!
The cruise itself is interesting with nice commentary. However, the dinner was very poor. The waiters were unexperienced and did only speak in sentences of 1 word, 'wine', and the main course was cold. This really was a pity, else it would definitely rate higher in our opinion.

Nearly missed the cruise despite being 45 minutes early. Not one member of staff announced that the cruise was embarking and as a result we were not asked regarding our preference on the menu. Crew were very friendly which went some way to make up for the initial disorganization.

Food was only OK, all was pre-heated. Staff very nice. A little expensive for what we got.

We were doubled booked for this cruise on Valentine's Day and as a result had to hunt around Amsterdam for an alternative venue which caused us much distress. The company did however refund us but offered no compensation.
