A quick and easy way to see the highlights of a city.

This tour was an excellent way to begin sightseeing in Amsterdam. The tour guide inside the bus was multi-lingual. Unfortunately, they repeat themselves in five different languages. That's because they have tourists from all over the world. My only complaint was, the tour guide's voice was non-stop monotone. This combined with my being jet-lagged nearly put me to sleep by the time they spoke in a third language. Nonetheless, it provided me a way to see the city I couldn't have done on my own. Definitely worth doing.

This was a good tour; it gave us a good understanding of the city before we walked around it ourselves.

This was a very welcome change from all the walking I had been doing. Also, during June the tour included a canal cruise. The bus tour gives a great historical view from the street, and the canal cruise gives a beautiful view of many of the historic homes from the water side that you wouldn't see the same way from the street.
