The trip to the Zaanse Schans windmills was the best part of the trip. Could have skipped the trip to Volendam and Marken. Needed to spend more time at Zaanse Schans.

The tour was good, except most of the things that we saw were actually free and we didn't have much time to see the windmill which was a disappointment. Apart from that it was good to have travel arranged and to experience the countryside.

The trip to Zaanse Schans and Volendam was pretty cool. Marken was just okay, and the Amsterdam City tour was not really worth the time.

The Amsterdam City tour was worth the experience; however, there was nothing too spectacular at Zaanse Schans and Marken except for the wooden shoe factory, a few windmills in the background, and the dikes. Volendam was a quaint town, and we basically just had lunch there and spent an hour around the harbor.

The canal boat ride was very good. The bus tour was only ok. Major problem was that you had to strain to hear the presentation on the bus.

The windmills and wooden shoe factory in Zaanse Schans were fantastic. We enjoyed the fishing villages of Volendam and Marken. However, the cheese making demonstration in Zaanse Schans was somewhat of a duplicate of the cheese farm we visited on the way to the fishing village. The tour operator could add another excursion in lieu of this.

Amsterdam city tour was pretty good. It was more like a city orientation tour, where they just mention facts about the place. As the tour was multilingual, we missed many places as the timing of explanation was not actual. The evening tour of Zaanse Schans Windmills, Volendam, and Marken was lovely. I would recommend going on this tour instead of a city orientation tour.

You are put on a red school bus to do the city tour and then taken off the bus and told you have to wait 3 hours for the second tour to begin.
