This was a very enjoyable cruise, and the food was also good. Would recommend this cruise.
Food was great and the waitresses and waiters were very friendly. The captain gave a good commentary. All in all well worth doing on our first evening in Amsterdam.
It was great fun and we really enjoyed everything, the company, food and ambience. Would definitely recommend.
The river cruise was phenomenal! We got the 3 course meal and it seemed so much more than that. There was free champagne upon arrival, unlimited wine/beer/softdrinks/water, a little pate type hourdouirve, bread (the spread that went with this was one of the best I've ever tasted!), my friend and I ordered this salmon appetizer that was huge!, I ordered chicken/my friend fish that both came with snap peas, potatoes and a salad. Dessert was a mousse (not the best honestly) and then followed by coffee and chocolates. It was a great meal. My friend and I are still talking about it! My only complaint was that my friend and I got a little lost trying to find the cruise because the street isn't well marked. Also, the company on the voucher said Linburgh tours or something as the point of contact but it was the Blue Boat Canal Cruises (or something like that). The voucher also said we'd get free entrance to the Casino near there but no one made mention of this, so I felt like that was mis-representation of the voucher. I would highly recommend this cruise to anyone going to Amsterdam and I would definitely go again!
No this was a great trip, our host for the evening "Bo" was great, some very witty one liners and good banter all the way. Again glorious evening trip in the sun, food was very tasty and the drink kept flowing the whole time as well.
You get a great trip round the city and views that you might not get to see otherwise so thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.
Food was good, the waiter was kind enough to explain what we were looking at, and in the evening the city becomes magic! An experience i will hold in my heart forever.
We decided to take this dinner cruise to celebrate our wedding anniversary and we were not disappointed. Although it may seem a little expensive, the cruise itself was excellent with interesting commentary at times from the skipper without it being a constant barrage.
The cruise lasted for around two hours, just about right and it's surprising how much can be seen in that time.
Finally, the meal (with wine, beer and soft drinks included) was excellent, all three courses were imaginitive and served very well by the friendly and attentive staff.
The food was excellent, as was the service. It was great in that we had a beginning in daylight to observe along the canal, and then when it was dark, we had a totally different (and wonderful) view of things. If there was any negative, it was that the launching point on the canal was a fair distance from the town center. We'd had another tour (to Delft) earlier and had to use a cab to be sure to get to the dock in time as the earlier tour was running a bit late. This is a wonder way to view the city and the cost was worth every sent. This was my first use of Viator and will surely use them in the future.
Excellent ambiance, food and intelligent commentary which did not intervene into what was a thoroughly enjoyable evening. In all, very good value for money. I would recommend the trip to anyone.
Really enjoyed this laid-back way to see Amsterdam from the water...such a different and worthwhile view! Given that it was a set menu, the meal choices were varied and delicious, and the service was efficient and friendly. Loved the fact that we started out in bright sunlight and returned at dusk. Interesting commentary too. Thanks to all concerned!
Really enjoyable boat cruise, staff lovely, food excellent, plenty of flowing wine. The only reason I didnt rate this 5 stars was due to the guide having limited English - however he did try and was very nice. Would recommend.
Meal and wine was great. Like all tours it will depend on the tour guide of the tour, to make it is a good tour or not. This guide was O.K., not excellent.
The food was good and the wine plentiful. After paying for a private table three months in advance, the cruise was oversold and we were put at a table with a nice Australian couple. The weather did not cooperate for us but there was also no tour info as we went around the city. Only a select few landmarks were pointed out to us.
