You could just walk around the Red Light District for yourself, quite easily and relatively safely. This tour though give you an insight to the things you don't consider, the legal aspects, like having to declare yourself for income tax, and and what you can declare as business expenses! An interesting talk and information, worth doing.

I absolutely recommend it! It was very interesting! Even if I was travelling alone, I felt very safe. I appreciated all the explanation from the guide but especially from the girl at the prostitute information center, that was the most interesting point of the tour. For sure seeing the girls behind the window was something too.
The negative point was that we were too many in the group and the guide wasn't speaking loud enough to being heard by all of us. He gives information about all the time, which is good but if you want to stop to take a picture not of the girls, you're too far already to hear him. As being a lonely traveler, I wouldn't be aware of a lot of things and facts we learnt during that tour if I wouldn't been part of that. It worth definitely the price. Thanks!
This tour gave us even more than we expected. Interesting information was given in the prostitute center by an actual former prostitute. Our guide was very knowledgeable and could answer all our questions. One recommendation: try to arrange to be in a small group where only one language is spoken.

This tour was very informative and worth doing. Our guide was excellent and our group was fun. I'd recommend it for women traveling alone or like us, mum and daughter. It was an eye opener indeed, even for the worldly wise!

Interesting. It was good to hear all the information about the RLD etc. The walking is at a very slow pace. Sometimes I wish it would have been a bit quicker speed and therefore covered more ground.

Very informative, not a bit seedy and well worth the experience.

This was a fun evening but very informative. The weather was absolutely horrendous - not ideal for a walking tour but the guide did his best to keep us amused. I would recommend this tour.

This was done very well and it was very interesting. Especially talking with the prostitute and being able to ask questions. The guide mixed history with a good overall walk through the district.

Interesting tour. Something we would not have felt comfortable doing on our own.

A very mature and adult perspective on the prostitution sector. The Info Center and speaker were really informative. The tour itself was was probably 30 minutes too long if no one asks questions but it was worth the time. Go on a Saturday for the best experience!

Our guide was a former social worker, so the tour gave a very sympathetic view from the prostitutes' stand point. The whole tour was very interesting and informative.
