A very well organized tour. It was a long day in two halves, Windmills in the morning and the rest in the afternoon. Very informative and enjoyable.
First it poured down all day but was glad i went and saw some working windmills
Long but fantastic day - felt like we'd really got a taste of Netherlands
awesome tour of amsterdam for short time tourist.u get a glimse of whole amsterdam in this tour.madouram is the best...the guide was awesome
This was a great day. Quite a long day but really enjoyed all the stops and our guide was great and very knowledgeable. Would recommend this especially for those short on time in Amsterdam, you get to see quite a lot in the one day.
We took the combined tours and loved them both. It was a busy day but very worthwhile. The trip(s) were well organized and narrated. We saw many different attractions and felt we had a very good view of sights outside of Amsterdam. We got to see many quaint and picturesque landscapes and towns. I would definitely recommend doing the two trips as advertised in the super saver.
Fantastic day tour, saw so much and still had time to see, shop relax in easy pace
Enjoyed this trip so much, you get to see the real Holland and the windmill stop is really cute! A long trip if you double up on 2 days, I would really recommend just doing this tour :)
Nicely organized tour, covered all the scenic spots including Marken and the windmills. Trip to Cheese factory was great and everyone got to taste a variety of cheeses. Stop at Madurodam could have been bit longer as there was a lot to see. Overall great one-day trip.
Great afternoon outing from Amsterdam. We traveled on a comfortable bus with a female guide who seemed to switch effortlessly among 5 languages. We appreciated the opportunity to wander around on our own to view different types of historic windmills and visit the shops at Zaanse Schans. Delightful grounds and restored homes. Then it was on to Delft, where we thoroughly enjoyed the lovely town square and exploration of the scenic nearby lanes, as well as a visit to one of the 2 remaining Delft pottery factories (fulfilled a long-held desire for a genuine Delft plate). Our tour of The Hague was done strictly by coach, but that was fine with us. We definitely got a good overview of the government buildings, embassies, Peace Palace, and the International Court of Justice. A few of my photos were problematic, but fortunately our last stop was at Madurodam, where I got great pictures of several of the same buildings--only these buildings were 1:25 scale model replicas! We had about an hour to view famous Dutch castles, churches, public buildings, and transportation systems. There was even a great model of Schiphol Airport with miniature planes that moved around the tarmac. The drive back to Amsterdam was quick and pleasant. All in all, we had a marvelous time and felt that the excursion was well worth the money.
Nice combination tour to see Netherland's highlights in one day. Coach was very comfortable and guide informative. See authentic windmills, wooden shoe and cheese making, Delft, fishing village, and drive by Hague. Thought Madurodam would be a tourist trap stop to fill out the afternoon, but was pleasantly surprised. It 's one of the highlights of the tour. Realistic and interactive models bring out the child in everyone. Definitely worth seeing.
