Delft windmills was great in the morning.doing the Hague after made it along day,
Very well structured tour. The guide was also very good even if she had to explain in 4 languages.
Busy tour and pace was too quick. The morning tour was great and the highlight was Zaanse Schans and Volendam. The afternoon tour was great too. My little one loves Madurodam. If you have children, this tour is a must.
Interesting and informative day, the Dutch people being so friendly and willing to share their knowledge.
The tour was great! We were fortunate as the weather was beautiful. Madurodam was amazing, as we did not know anything about it prior to the trip. The guides were very good, but we wished they could have walked a little slower. Our only complaint is that there did not seem to be enough access to restrooms.
A very interesting one and I highly recommend it to everyone who visits Amsterdam. It is a must see tour.
Great trip! Delft was awesome, and the windmills were amazing to learn about and look at. To be honest, I wasn't at all impressed with The Hague and the Madurodam. If you are traveling with kids, the might have fun at Madurodam, but for adults, it was a bore. The Hague might have been more fun if we had been able to get out of the bus and see more of the city.
I had the best time on this tour! The tour guide was deeply informative and I learnt so much about the history and current times of Amsterdam. I travelled solo felt in safe hands with the tour guide and my tour companions. I was amazed at how much we were able to fit into one day. To see windmills up close and personal was brilliant. They were set amongst a small, cosy Dutch village and it was like something out of a fairytale. Our visit to the cheese factory was great. I was expecting a large scale industrial cheese factory but instead found a quaint little cottage with women dressed in traditional Dutch dress. And the free taste testing was this cheese lover's dream! Next was a visit to the beautiful fishing village of Volendam. The sights were quaint and idyllic with various shops to purchase souvenirs and lunch. What better way to spend a sunny lunchtime than seafood by the sea. A pleasant boat ride to Marken to see a traditional clog factory (again not an industrial one as expected). It was like a step back in time. I purchased myself a pair of clogs from here, rather than the cheap ones in souvenir shops. The trip south was equally fascinating. The drive through The Hague was surreal, seeing some of the buildings you hear about on the world news (eg: International Criminal Court). To top off a great day was a visit to a pottery factory and the beautiful city of Delft. The main square was breath taking and very laid back. A great way to sit and watch time go by. I would recommend this tour to anyone. So much to see and do!
This was an excellent tour. Informative, great countryside and good value.
Well worth the money. The day is packed. Very comfortable trip. Highly recommended.
We loved it! The windmills are breathtakingly beautiful. I love shopping for local crafts so Delft was great for me. The Hague was more of a drive by event, but the short stop at the palace was great. Madurodam is any child's dream, I only hope to take our babies there some day. Very well coordinated day trip.
