What You Can Expect
Check out the Heineken Experience whenever you wish during the day. It opens at 11am, and last entry is at 5:30pm (Monday to Thursday) and 6:30pm (Friday to Sunday). Give yourself ample time to enjoy this attraction and travel to your canal cruise, which sets voyage at 7pm.
Bask yourself in the history and traditions of Heineken, Holland’s iconic beer, during the Heineken Experience, located in an impressive industrial heritage site in Amsterdam. Learn about the original Heineken brewery (from 1867 until 1988). Today, the Heineken Experience is more than a museum — expect an interactive journey in which you'll gain insight into the extraordinary story behind this remarkable, world-famous brand. Even better: two beers are included with entry.
Amsterdam Canals Pizza Cruise (evening)
After the Heineken Experience, sit back and relax on this 90-minute evening canal cruise — that includes pizza for dinner! After boarding the glass-enclosed boat, select from six choices of pizzas. While you enjoy an appetizer, your pizza arrives from the oven to your table, accompanied with unlimited wine, beer and soft drinks.
As you navigate along Amsterdam’s lovely UNESCO-listed canals, listen to engaging commentary on board that gives you background into the city and historical landmarks, including the Skinny Bridge, the National Monument, the Royal Palace and St Nicolaaskerk (St Nicholas Church). Top off the pizza and sightseeing with Ben and Jerry’s ice cream, a sweet note to end your Amsterdam canal cruise.
This is a great combination. My only caution is to allow enough time for the Heineken experience as it can be very crowded. Best to go earlier rather than later, especially on weekends.
Great way to see Amsterdam. Learned interesting facts along the way! Beautiful scenery, great staff on board:
Perfect way to start a trip in Amsterdam!
Had a brilliant time on this excursion, and the pizzas were gorgeous.
Lovely Pizza... Great Crew and Great and funny captain.... Thumbs up....
Really enjoyed the Heineken experience visit. Pre-booked tickets meant we could queue jump and enter straight away. The pizza tour was also brilliant. Lots of free drinks and delicious pizza. A great way to enjoy two of Amsterdam's attractions for a cheap price.
LOVED IT !!
heineken experience was so good even got a free beer , the pizza cruise was amazing seeing the city at night even though it was a little dark to see most things but i really enjoyed it and the pizza was nice we stop for a few minutes where u can smoke or stretch ur legs .. i would recommend every couple to do this very romantic . and great value for money as we worked it out to be more paid separately.
Enjoyable, easy, not any problems, highly reccommended
Brilliant tour, food and alcohol!!! loved it, an absolute must do!
Amazing experience. Really good to cover two major attractions with sufficient time to savor the experience. Definitely recommended.
Just one bit of caution, the e-ticket that you receive from Viator is not acceptable at Heineken. You will have to collect the pass for Heineken and Canal Cruise from a shop opposite to Rijks Museum which is 5-10 mins by walk from Heineken. So please collect the passes before proceeding to Heineken. Also i had read somewhere that the canal cruise starts from right outside the Heineken which is not the case. The cruise starting point is located opposite to Amsterdam Central Station which is 10 mins by tram from Heineken.
We had to rush a little, you can plan better and enjoy more :
