Read what other Viator.com travelers think about the Delft and The Hague Half-Day Trip from Amsterdam. What they loved, what they liked and what they think could be improved, it's all here to help you make the most of your next trip.
Once again, Viator comes through with clean transportation, knowledgeable guides, and a thoroughly enjoyable visit to charming Delft (and the fascinating working pottery factory) and The Hague (with a visit to the Peace Palace). All along the trip are facts and anecdotes to enhance our enjoyment!
The ride to Delft was lovely and the town of Delft was so charming. Our only complaint is that we were not given enough time to browse around the city. The choice was to browse or eat lunch, and we chose the latter because of the timing. The factory tour in Delft was terrific, but once again we needed more time to shop at the end.
The Hague tour was interesting and well worth the trip. The tour guide was knowledgeable and was eager to share the history and culture of his country. All in all, we thoroughly enjoyed this introduction to the Netherlands.
Interesting Delft factory with informative commentary by the person from the factory. The tour guide provided interesting info during the coach ride about Netherlands. We get to wander around the city square in Delft. It rained very heavily while we were there so we just had a drink in one of the cafés. More shops here selling Delft ceramics. The walk in The Hague is not strenuous at all.
Very interesting tour! Very knowledgable guide and a great way to gain insight to and see a few true Netherlands landmarks.
Loved it! To say it was only a half day trip, we saw a lot! The tour guide was excellent. We loved both places. Would highly recommend!
The tour guide/commentary was very informative, his english was very good, and easy to understand.
Very good tour. We had an extremely good guide who gave us every piece of information regarding The Netherlands whilst going to Delft and The Hague.
A wonderful opportunity to visit a Delft pottery workshop that still hand paints its pottery. An opportunity to see and purchase the real thing. The tour guide did a wonderful job pointing out all the main buildings and sites as we drove through The Hague.
This was a wonderful tour and the guide was very good. Would recommend if you only have a half day to spare. We would have liked to have had much more time in the town of Delft as it was a lovely picturesque town.
We had a great experience. On time departure, sufficient time at each location, tour guide's sense of humor was manageable, and we were back on time. The buses were comfortable and secure (to leave behind our backpacks). Had a great first experience with viator.
Great trip. Informative guide with a great sense of humour. Ample time spent in the 3 locations visited.
lovely truly enjoyed our tour would likely to recommend it to my friends.thank you

Our booking for this tour was not on the register for 17th October 2011 .... it was booked for 17th August 2011 !!!!!!! .... that was the date I booked and paid this tour before we left for Europe. Luckily, we had 2 days in Amsterdam and were able to go on 18th October. However, this meant we changing our Hop-On Hop-off Van Gogh Pass to 17th October, which we could not start until 3.00pm. The tour itself was excellent but the mess-up was extremely disappointing.
The trip was very gud and the lady guide new it all quite well and the way she explained was just fantastic.
It was really a fantastic experience. Looking forward to have many others in near future. Thanks.
Our visit to Amsterdam was jammed packed before we even landed. Our expectations were high and each one was met. It was a wonderful trip.
Loved this trip! Gave us just enough time to know we want to return, especially to Delf. Our guide was so friendly and patient. The company that sponsors the trip needs some work. They had us waiting on the sidewalk with no seating for 30 mins. No matter there was a pregnant woman for god's sake at least offer her a seat! and it was very warm. Offered only 1 bathroom for all the people going on tours. Crazy.
I don't think the tourguide ever stopped giving information in four languages. Seemed like she really enjoyed her job. Was definitely worthwhile, but could have used more time in the Hague to do more than a drive by of the ICC.
