Great trip! It is a long day but, for sure, most convenient for us. In addition to seeing two great cities, we got to see the countryside. Our guide was excellent, and we had plenty of free time.

This was undoubtedly a highlight of our recent overseas holiday. Two friends had booked but had to forgo the trip as a result of illness and were so disappointed when we told them what a lovely experience we had. The guide was excellent and both towns had historic charm.

Was a great day trip to two wonderfully rich cities. I like the fact that we're given just basic instructions and the rest was free time to do and see whatever I wanted. I prepared by printing out maps prior to the trip so that I could explore areas around the city center areas. Be sure to bring small change for the toilets.

While the tour was worthwhile, be warned it's a long day - 8 hours on the bus, 4.5 hours between both cities. The price is right, the tour guide was lovely and the bus is comfortable enough. However, Ghent is just so-so, and the stop is only for about an hour, so there's not much to do but stroll around and eat lunch. Bruges is gorgeous, however, and has more to offer, so it probably would be better to focus on that city exclusively, and have some tour time and time to yourself. Still, I would recommend this tour.

Long day but worthwhile. Ghent and Bruges were lovely. On the square in Bruges we took a horse and carriage ride. There is also an opportunity to get on a small bus to do a short tour of the city. It would have been better to go straight to Amsterdam, rather than stop for 40 minutes on the way back at the restaurant, majority of people were not happy about this.

Although a very long day, worth it to do if you don't have much time to visit Belgium more in depth or want to add on one more bonus to your European experience. Both cities were very interesting. There wasn't enough time in Gent, but plenty of time in Bruges, which I personally enjoyed the most because of it's layout and friendly atmosphere. The tower climb in Bruges was a definite must to see the city from a bird's eye view.

If you want to expand your visit and see historic cities in Belgium, you'll enjoy this tour. The time in Ghent, especially, was really too short to see much, but you'll still get a flavor for these cities. Because of the distance, be prepared to ride in the bus quite a bit.

I liked Ghent, but we were too rushed there. I really enjoyed Bruges though.

Both cities were worth seeing. The time in Ghent was quite limited, but more time was available to explore Bruges.
