Fabulous gardens, very efficient tour guide who explained all we needed to know before we entered the garden.
If you love flowers, and who doesn't, then the Keukenhof Gardens is definitely something to see if you are in Amsterdam when it is open. On the way there in the bus the guide gave us some historical background in English, French, Spanish, German and Dutch and on the way back he answered any questions about tulips and tulips growing. Even though it was a Friday holiday and many people were there, seeing the spectacular displays of tulips and the tulip fields just outside the Gardens was a lovely experience.
Loved this experience. Was a pretty easy day, arrived at the gardens and had plenty of time to walk about and eat. Was a beautiful place.
The variety of flowers and patterns was awesome. I had to just sit down and marvel at the beauty.
The most beautiful flower garden on the earth, did not want to get out. Coach on time, Great guide and extremely helpful and friendly staff. for flower lovers 3.5 was kind of short- otherwise amazing...
If you like flowers, then this is the place. Over 7 million of them all in bloom and all well maintained.
We've seen a lot of flower parks, but this is the best. Tulips of all colour and shape. Not only Tulips but many other colourful bulbs. A must place to see, but try to go in the middle of the season because you won't be disappointed. A good crowd but it so big everyone has space to move and you can still get your photos as though you are almost alone. Highly recommended.
If you are in Amsterdam between March 15 and May 15th you must go see the Keukenhof gardens. We were all pleasantly surprised and overwhelmed even those among us that are not gardeners or flower people. Just amazing and beautiful and huge! Spend the whole day!
The gardens were beautiful...never have we seen so many variety of tulips in one place. Definitely worth the visit.
Excellent tour, which gave us three hours to visit the gardens on our own you needed that time as it is extensive and there were thousands of visitors that day Liberation Day. The time was just right and I had time to eat lunch at the restaurant.
Our tour guide was a local, and very informative and friendly. It was easy to find the pick up location, getting on/off the bus, finding the bus--everything!! We had a wonderful tour. The gardens are amazing!!
While we didn't have time to see everything, the arrangements and flower beds that we did see were amazing. We only visited the Rose hot house and it was breath taking. Green tipped pink roses, orange tipped red roses, buttery yellow roses, and even lavender once, the tulips, just name a color. Who knew that hey could have so many petals. The hyacinths we just as gorgeous. All in all a marvelous day lost among a golden host of daffodil .....and tulips, which btw came from Turkey originally. Would I recommend you bet. We came at the perfect time. The garden's parade was to be on Saturday and we were there on Tuesday.
The gardens were fabulous, but we were required to arrive at the company location 30 minutes BEFORE our scheduled time to be certain of a place on the bus. YES,,,,we had already paid, but had to exchange our e-mail ticket for another ticket. It was raining and their office was not open, so we stood outside in the freezing rain for 30 minutes.even though there were actually people there. I would recommend a different local company or buy the ticket and get yourself there. I rate the gardens a 5 but the company that got us there a 1 since I can't give it a zero.
The tour was lovely and it was the perfect amount of time. A bit pricey for what you got but I'd still recommend it.
Comfortable coach to take us to the gardens and back. Knowledgeable guide, who spoke several languages. The gardens were breath taking, an absolute riot of colour everywhere. I would definitely recommend this trip.
Incredible!!! A must if you are in Holland at the right time of the year.
