I had a magnificent time. Walk was planned well. Guide was extremely knowledgable....included out of the way private inner courtyards which were very special. Pace was excellent. HIGHLY recommend!!!
My friend and I had the best introduction ever to Amsterdam with a lady named Evelien Chilton. She had lived in San Francisco for a couple of years and was very fluent in English. She tailored the tour to our tastes and went well over the allotted 4 hours with a graciousness that was hard to beat. Afterwards she followed up with email advice and answered questions that we forgot to ask. It was a wonderful way to start a holiday in an unfamiliar city and I recommend the experience without any reservation whatsoever.
Marja did an outstanding job. We saw areas that would normally be missed if we were to attempt to go it alone. We highly recommend Marja for best tour guide of Amsterdam.
Our guide Corrine was excellent. A great way to visit the city and find out about it's history and life from a local viewpoint. It is a four hour walking tour, so be prepared - although our guide did say they do adapt to take account of those who might not wish to walk so far. Highly recommended.
Best way to get real feel for Amsterdam. We had already seen some sights so Wilhelm our guide arranged tour round the centre areas and he was the perfect guide-full of witty anecdotes and information. We chose where to end tour to go on somewhere else. Highly recommended!
We took this tour on our first day in Amsterdam - it was the right choice and our guide, Daphne, was
Very informative tour. Hits all the high points and gets you oriented to the city in 4 hours. Lots of walking so be prepared. This does get you close to the residents as opposed to taking a bus tour. Ed did a fine job of walking at our pace and making sure we were enjoying ourselves.
Harry was FANTASTIC.
It was wonderful to walk the city streets and backstreets to get a feel for the lifestyle of Amsterdam.
Harry answered all our questions and had many himself about our life style in Australia.
We really appreciated his knowledge and the humour he added along the way.
I would highly recommend a personal tour - worth every cent and more!
Maria, our tour guide, was terrific. She met us at our hotel and we embarked on a four hour walking tour of Amsterdam. We got to see so much and Maria provided us with so much information, not only about the sights we were seeing but also some insight into what life is like in Amsterdam. She also provided us with a great deal of history. What a great experience!
Would recommend this to all. Our guide was very knowledgeable. Great city

Our guide was great, with good knowledge and was able to make adjustments as we requested.
Simon L'Ami was fabulous. We had a walking tour in the pouring rain, got soaking wet and Simon carried on as if the sun was shining brightly. Simon taught us how to figure out the city and showed us the main sites.
It was a great tour just wish we didn't have to do it in a rain storm.
Excellent tour by our private tour guide Massimo Saracino, highly recommend him!
Daphne did an outstanding job! She listened to our interests and exactly tailored our walking tour to maximise our time together. Daphne was able to answer all our questions and make suggestions for other activities during the remainder of our stay. furthermore, daphne spent extra time with us which we really appreciated - so a BIG THANKYOU from my wife Penny and I
Strongly recommend a tour such as this at the beginning of one's stay in Amsterdam
This walking tour was a great way to start our visit in Amsterdam. We saw a lot of the city. Our guide was quite knowledgeable and accommodating.
william was a winderful guide. He was very knowledgeable of the history of the country and city. He spent an extra hour with us. i would reccommend him highly.
We were picked up by our tour guide, Massimo from our hotel as promised. it was 4 hours of nice pace walking along the township of Amsterdam. Massimo enquired to see what we had done already to ensure no overlapping, which was very thoughtful. He took us along the canal areas of Jordan, explaining the key sites and always took any questions we had, walked to the museum area, saws he flower markets. The tour A took us through Chinatown, the red and blue light district. The tour also included an Amsterdam snack and tram ride. Whilst we chose not to use the tram ride, Massimo still gave us the ticket which we conveniently used at another time. If you are looking for a snap shot of Amsterdam, this is the tour to do, we were blessed with the great weather and a very good your guide, highly recommended !
Our guide was very good. A private tour is the only way to go. The personal attention makes a big difference.
Excellent. Our guide tailored the tour to our interests. We feel we have a pretty good understanding of the Amsterdam architecture, history, and life style.

We were picked up at our hotel and walked through the all the well known parts of Amsterdam by our guide who was informative, gracious and patient with all our questions
Undoubtedly the best features of the tour were those off the beaten track of the normal tourist and focussing on what the locals saw, did, ate and drank.
We would recommend this approach over the traditional group approach
