What You Can Expect

Small-Group Amsterdam Bike Tour

Small-Group Amsterdam Bike Tour

Explore Amsterdam the ‘Dutch way’ — by bike! Meet your small group near Amsterdam’s central station and receive a safety briefing before setting off after your guide.

Kick off your bike tour in the bohemian Jordaan Quarter, a labyrinth of narrow streets and canals. Pass by the Anne Frank House Museum, the building in which Jewish wartime diarist Anne Frank hid. Learn about the neighborhood’s originally modest beginnings before it transformed into the trendy district of boutiques, cafes and restaurants that you see today.

Journey further south and pass the Rijksmuseum, the Netherlands’ national museum, home to masterpieces by Rembrandt and Vermeer. Take a break in the lovely Vondel Park, before cycling across the Magere Brug, considered by many to be the most beautiful bridge in the city.

Then, follow your guide into Amsterdam’s Red Light District, and discover its fascinating — and racy — characteristics. Hear tales about this controversial neighborhood dating back to the 14th century.

Your 2-hour tour ends back at the departure point.

If you opt for the 3-hour tour, take in the same sights mentioned above, plus the house of famous Dutch painter Rembrandt. You'll also enjoy a slightly longer break in Vondel Park.

The guide was informative and the tour was relaxed and fun. Only issue I have is with the dangerous Amsterdam traffic during the tourism peak season. Nearly got knocked down by a car...

excellent, Bob was a wonderful tour guide, he made sure everyone kept up and he gave us loads of valuable information about the city. We felt so confident that we hired bikes for our entire stay and had a great time zooming around the city, feeling safe and confident about where we needed to go. I definitely recommend the bike tour, the best way to see Amsterdam!

Amsterdam should be experienced from the bike and/or the canals. We were only 3 clients, so it was intimate. The guide was knowledgeable and spoke about relevant things. We got a chance to get out from the city center and look around. Cycling in Amsterdam is an experience!

This was the first tour we did in Amsterdam and it was a great way to see the city and highlight the main points right away. Our guide, Ava, was funny and very informative. Really cool tour!

Really good fun! The host had excellent knowledge of the sites we stopped at which made the trip more interesting. I would recommend doing this tour early on as you get to know your way around the city. It is more enjoyable than riding around and having to consult your map every 5 mins and once you know the routes you can always ride around in your own time. Highly recommended.
