It was OK, but could have been better

Volendam and Marken were fabulous. You should consider just having a tour to these two places. There was confusion regarding which buses people were suppose to go on.

The Hague needs to be explored on foot for about an hour, making one or maybe two strategic bus stops.

This is actually 2 separate tours - I did not realize that when I booked it. The Zaanse Schans windmills portion is good. The afternoon tour to Delft was not so great - we saw nothing in Deflt except the pottery factory. Only drove through the Hague and there are so many great buildings there it would have been nice to get out of the bus and walk around. We had the option to go to Scheveningen or Madurodam and due to heavy traffic this part was very rushed. There is not enough time allotted for restroom breaks on either tour. The tour guides on both portions were not the most helpful or the friendliest.

This tour was a good overview of Holland, but the stops on the tour felt like one big commercial. There were no stops that were not tied to a company or a selling opportunity. I would have liked more authentic places to visit.

The tour to Delft was a waste of time as everything was outrageously priced. Despite what the guide said about factory prices, I found better priced Delft at the airport. Also, it would have been nice if we had time to enjoy lunch instead of rushing back to change buses. On other day tours I've done, we had the same bus the whole day. Also, the afternoon tour guide wasn't too knowledgeable. They rushed us through The Hague with hardly any history and no time to take a picture, except at Madurodam.

We had only thirty minutes to eat lunch in a very busy restaurant district. There was not enough time to enjoy the sights. It felt like we were constantly running through sights. Plus, our guide was not friendly.

The trip covered a decent bit of area, but some portions of it were too commercial in nature. The trip to the Delft pottery felt very commercial because the intent was for the visitors to buy some stuff - less time was spent on observing how the people make things and more was spent shopping. The same holds true for the cheese-making trip. The time given at most attractions, such as the windmill, was not adequate for the last passenger on the bus to get off and walk all the way and come back.

We enjoyed the trip overall but didn't feel there was enough time to appreciate each place. This was advertised as one trip, but it was actually two joined together, necessitating a return to Amsterdam for the afternoon departure. This just seemed like a waste of time that could have been spent at the venues.

The first of the trip was good, but the other part was very disorganized. The guide on the second part was absolutely useless. Madurodam and Volendam are worth visiting, but I feel I paid too much for them. I could have seen those place more cheaply by going solo. If you can go on your own, do so.

First stop at cloggs shop to see how they were made too many people inside. Got lost from guide, went back to the bus. Tour guide came back with guided tour over in 15 minutes. Didn't show you inside the three windmills. Had paid for two tours that day spent most of the time on bus. It was that bad of a journey. Always had to keep an eye on tour guide if get lost up to you to find way back, that's one big reason not to go on this tour. Did two tours that day thinking it would be fun, it was not.

Very rushed. Overbooked, three languages spoken on tour, by the time the tour guide got to our language the tour was past the site so we never did know what we were seeing. Bookings were great with no problem. Problem was tour supplier.

The travel company was very disorganized in loading the buses, very little time was spent at each of the locations, and there was little running commentary on what we were seeing, or about the Netherlands in general. At the windmills we were not even given enough time to walk out to see them up close.

The tour guide was very pushy and not very friendly. We had very little time at any of the places listed on the tour. According to our guide we did not have enough time to walk out to the windmills, which were only about 200 yards from the bus. She threatened to leave us there if we walked out to see them. Why would we go to see the windmills if we could not take 5 minutes to walk out and see them up close? Tour guide in the afternoon to The Hague was much more personable and made for an enjoyable trip.

Not enough time was spent in any one place to either see or enjoy it. The tour guide on this one didn't even bother to make sure we were all with her and two people got left behind at one stop. The whole tour was spent just running to keep up with the tour guide. Lousy.
