Was a very nice tour for half a day. There was enough time to look around and buy somethings.
Great tour! The highlight for me was the village of Volendam. Very quaint, colorful, great shopping, amazing food. The fish was fabulous. Our tour guide Diana was amazing!! The only downside was the amount of time spent in Marken at the clog making shop (another 15 minutes would have been nice, it felt a bit rushed).
Really good value for money. Really well organised. Great variety of sights to see from the cheese making, watching clogs being made, seeing the beautiful fishing villages, the short boat trip from one fishing village to the next and finally the windmills, just beautiful. There was no hard selling, all very relaxed and the Spainish tour guide was excellent! On a city tour to Amsterdam with two of my friends, we all agreed that it was a great way to see more of Holland by going 10km outside Amsterdam and escape the city for a few hours. This tour was five hours long and in general it didn't feel rushed at all. The only time my friends and I thought we could have had a little more time was at the windmills to take this fabulous sight in. Overall, I would highly recommend this trip and we are in the age bracket of 30-40.
Excellent tour. Highly recommended.

This trip is a great way to experience a little bit of the history and the countryside. The cheese is fantastic. Great to bring home as gifts. The windmills are beautiful.
We were very fortunate that we had a lovely sunny day for this excellent trip out of Amersterdam and it gave us the chance to see the lovely surrounding area which we found interesting..
Marken and Volendam were pretty little places and we enjoyed the boat ride across. The Clog and Cheese Making demonstrations were quite good although, very obviously put on for tourists so not much depth, but not too long.
The Windmills were quite spectacular but time was limited but the 6 hours was quite long enough for the trip..
We took the 6 hour extended tour. We were picked up on time and taken Marken. The guide was very informative and gave a good commentary on the whole tour. In Marken she guided us around the old part of the town, we visited the cheese making and then had an hour to do our own thing. The ferry trip was OK , but the poor weather did not help. Volendam was similar to Marken, the clog maker was interesting but there was little else to see. On the trip to the windmills we were again entertained by the guide, she really helped us enjoy the trip. The windmills were excellent, again the weather did not help and we could have done with some more time hear. We arrived back on time in Amsterdam. Overall an excellent trip despite the constant rain.
The tour was alot of fun!

This tour was excellent. Really enjoyable one. These places were beautiful. Tour was on time and organised. Nice one.
Helpful staff, comfortable travel and ample time to look around.
Very informatative and enjoyable
Good value, it is probably worth taking the morning version of this trip, as the afternoon version was time affected , when we got to the windmills most of the other shops at the site etc were closed. This could well change in the summer months.
This tour gives newcomers to Holland a great overview of the countryside, traditions, and small villages. We learned about building dikes, polders, and the work of windmills. The wooden shoe factory and cheese factory were also highlights. Since there are not many old windmills left in Holland, then this tour is a must.
A very nice tour. Enjoyed the pace and the lake boat trip.
Specially liked Volendam. A town to spend more time in.
Overall the tour was very good. Bus was clean and the driver was good.
The bus windows were clean which people like us who like to take pictures of the route really appreciate.
