Wonderful to see some of North Holland countryside. Guide was very informative and friendly. It would have been nice to have a little more time everywhere. The boat ride was a real highlight!

Good trip, was very quick since we made four stops but was enough time at each place.

One member of our group was sick & could not join us - we did not receive any back. Our tour guide was very nice, spoke at least 4 languages, and was very knowledgeable. Spoke the whole time to make it interesting; no downtime, even while traveling to and fro on the bus. Wish we had more time at the windmills after the shoemaker demo.

Very crowded at the cheese factory - crowded and not enough time at the windmills.

This trip is certainly recommended. I wished more time was given to stay at the Zaanse Schans windmills area and Volendam. The boat ride from Volendam to Marken was relaxing, and the village of Marken is absolutely picturesque.

Our guide was excellent. She advised us of the restaurants, food, etc. She was very knowledgeable. The places we went to, the shoe making exhibition, the cheese making demonstration and the boat ride to Marken were excellent. Only bad thing was that there was not enough time to really explore all of the places.

Excellent overview of the history of the country and an opportunity to see things and life outside the big cities.

A busy half day but really quite interesting. Courier was excellent.

The trip is definitely worth doing, just unfortunate that we did not spend time in Marken at all.

There was great variety in this tour. We saw all the principle Dutch things: cheese making, clogs, and, of course, the wonderful windmills.

Half a day time to see windmills, clogs and cheese making then visits to Marken, ferry ride, it was all good!

We had a wonderful time on the tour. It was short and sweet and gave us a chance to share some great memories with our grandsons.

Stops very very nice. Love what we got to see. I think that group as a whole could have done with an other half hour or so at the wooden shoe and windmill location. Another 1.5 would have been great, we could have gone up to the windmills and/or explored around a little. Feel the group could have done with just a tad bit less time at the cheese farm, tasting was great but there really wasn't must to see or do. The demo was great but just not long enough to spend that much time there. Volendam was charming. Instead of driving us around to Marken just to let us look back across the water and not be able to get off the bus even. Would have much rather had that extra in Volendam. Definitely didn't see the point in going over there. Understand about the time constraints with the tour only being a half day. With the exception of Marken I think that time lengths were probably chosen well under the circumstances. Would really recommend a full day tour of this though over the half day if you have the time!
