Loved being able to see the cheese farms, the windmills, and the wooden shoes all in one day!

Even though it was only a half day trip it packed in a lot! Seeing the windmills was the highlight of the tour although we were not given enough time! The clog making was interesting, but the cheese was just a hard sell! Would have liked to spend more time in Volendam as it was lovely and well worth seeing! Marken looked very nice but could not see point in traveling across the dike by ferry just to get back on bus and have no stop time! The tour rep was funny and came up with so many interesting facts! All in all not bad trip!

Good trip. Bus ride back through Amsterdam was a little long. Could've gone without the drive through Marken - just drove through it and turned around.

A very enjoyable day with an excellent guide who had an intimate knowledge of the countryside outside Amsterdam.

Polders, shoe making and cheese making were a good contrast to canals and museums in Amsterdam.

It was a very nice trip into the countryside! A bit short visiting some places, but it did give you a good taste of the area.

Great start to our time in Amsterdam. Good guide and very interesting places. We only had time to take the short tour but would recommend the longer one if possible as we would have liked more time at the windmills and Marken.

We had a good time and met some nice people. Great to see all the different varieties of clogs. Wish we had longer at some of the places. Our tour guide seemed a bit old and tired.
