Wooden factory and windmills were fantastic. Not much to see in the fishing villages though.

The trip was well worth doing. It was very informative, and the only complaint I have is that we didn't spend enough time at Zaanse Schans Windmillls, there was just too much to see in too little time. The tour guide was very informative and pleasant.

We had a good time getting out of city with our very knowledgeable tour guide.

I really enjoyed the tour; it was very informative and interesting. The only downside was that there was not enough time at each stop, with so much to see and buy!

I had a wonderful time, and the tour operator's office was a short walk. Thank you for your assistance. I just wish I had more time there.

I thought we could have used more time at the windmills.

I enjoyed it, although we did not have too much time at any one stop.

It was lovely! I'm so glad that we got to see that side of Amsterdam, but on the other hand, I would have preferred to have done it alone. I had read the reviews on it, and most said there wasn't enough time at each spot, that was an understatement. The staff was bossy and pretty rude, and we had hardly any time at each site. I'd rather pay a little more and do it myself. But, if you are extremely tight on time, do it, but make sure that you get there early, or else (like myself and my husband), you'll end up sitting on opposite ends of the bus.

Tour was very enjoyable and good value for the price. I enjoyed the ferry ride. I would have liked less time in commercial shops.

I booked this trip for a final thing to do on a weekend to Amsterdam with 11 ladies, and I can honestly say it finished the weekend off perfectly. The fact that we all had pink cowboy hats on broke the ice, however we were welcomed aboard by our guide who was most efficient in rounding the troops! She was diligent in ensuring we saw everything there was to see. The tour was well organized from start to finish, and well worth the money!

Well-organised, and we had a great guide.

Very well organized, even if there were several different tours leaving at the same time, and all seemed to be very crowded.

We felt rushed through the tour, but at least it was very informative with great tour guides.

Our trip included a 30-minute boat ride, so overall the price was right. The tour guide sounded like a tired broken record, but the bus driver knew exactly where to take us, which was the main thing. Overall, we got a reasonable bang for the buck.

At the Zaanse Schans Windmills, if you want good photos of the windmills, skip the shoe factory tour and gift shop and walk out to the windmills on your own.
