We had a quick, light (ok, maybe not so light) lunch of fries with mayo. I have eaten a lot of fries in my 44 years and the Dutch know how to make great ones. Since they are so popular in the Netherlands I got to eat them fairly often during my stay and I never had a bad batch of fries. The mayo was always really creamy and oh so tasty with them.
