Nice tour around the city with commentary in many languages. The departure times given on the voucher are not correct, there are more departures than given on the voucher.
Cadiz tour was short but good and you could go to the beach and spend the afternoon as there were three stops. Easy access from the cruise terminal.
Wonderful tour showing the diversity of Cadiz! Lots of very good stops and surprisingly there was a stop directly at the port my ship docked in. Nice surprise!
Great way to see where the highlights of Cadiz are since this small city is very spread out. The tour is a great value and delivers on service, cleanliness, information and ease of use.
Perfect in every way. This bus was located just outside our ship's port gate. It couldn't have been any more convenient, and the sights were wonderful.
HoHo Bus stop at dock entrance a few minutes walk from our cruise ship. When ship docked there were three buses waiting at 9.45 am which quickly filled up. As we had pre booked our tour tickets we managed to get on the first bus rather than have to join a queue to purchase tickets. When we returned one hour later there was a significant queue waiting for a bus. Advice would be to pre purchase tickets (a small saving on the 15 euro cost) and be there early to avoid the queues. Tour iteself we found to be informative - they even give you a hat to ward of the heat of the sun.
It was a good route the bus took and Cadiz is beautiful. The only issue was the long wait. We were slow getting off the ship so when we finally did there was a long line for the bus and there were only filling the top portion of the bus so it took almost an hour to get on the bus. If you are doing this from the cruise port make sure to get off the ship early or later.
We felt the tour cheated us as it only did one half and then repeated the same tour again. We never got to see the other half of the island !
Of all the HOHO tours I have ever done this must be the most disappointing. Whilst Cadiz is a wonderful city with much of interest the HOHO tour could have been so much better. First of all it took me a good 10 minutes to find the correct language for the audio guide - a problem caused by three factors: the lack of instruction by the bus tour guide, the lack of instruction in the accompanying tour guide leaflet and the long pauses in the audio filled with music. This brings me to my second and biggest annoyance - whilst the music on the audio guide was pleasant enough, it was quite unforgivable just how much of it there was compared to the spoken word. Cadiz is a wonderful city, rich in variety of scenery, culture and history - quite how a 45 minute audio tape could not be completely filled with interesting facts and references the entire journey is beyond me! Far too much music - far too little information! I would only recommend this for the fact that you do actually get to see something of the whole city in a limited time, with minimal effort, and from a good vantage point if sitting on the top deck. As for giving you facts and information on the city - this side was the poorest I've ever come across anywhere in the world. It could have been much better. As far as buying tickets for this tour from Viator we were very pleased that we did not need to go first to an office or agency to exchange our ticket - we could hop at the nearest bus stop.
Apparently, at least while we were there, there was only one driver. So the bus route stopped at 6pm! Unfortunately, we were only in Cadiz for the day - so we got on the bus for two stops and it was over. All that you really want to see in Cadiz is manageable by foot. We did the hop-on in Seville - and it was much better.
