Once a launching point for ships sailing to the New World, the 3,000-year- old port city of Cadiz is now famous for the picturesque, Moorish charm of its old central quarter. While your ships waits in the Cadiz port, explore the city on an open-top, double-decker, hop-on hop-off bus tour! With convenient stops around town, you can see attractions like the beautiful cathedral, the central quarter, the Puerto Real and the Puerto de Santa María.
See the Puerta de Tierra, a marble door from 1756 that separates the old part of the city from the modern one. Visit the neoclassical city hall in Plaza de San Juan de Dios. Grab a snack at one of the numerous cafes around the city. Or visit Plaza de Sevilla, Plaza de la Hispanidad and the nearby Victoria Beach.

30-minute route around central Cadiz, including Plaza Sevilla, Campo del
Sur, Catedral, Playa la caleta, Parque Genovés, Alameda, Iglesia del
Carmen, Plaza de España, to commemorate the 200th anniversary of the
Spanish constitution. Tour departs every day at 5pm from Stop 1 -- Plaza
San Juan de Dios -- and is available in English and Spanish. Tours must
be booked in advance at Stop 1.
Walking Tour:
Join a 1-hour
guided walking tour of the Cadiz Alameda, Iglesia del Carmen, Plaza del
mentidero, Plaza San Antonio,
Iglesia San Felipe Neri, and learn interesting facts about the Spanish
constitution of 1812. Tour is available in English and Spanish, and
departs every day ay 2:15pm from Stop 11 -- Alameda. You must book in
advance at Stop 1.
