Stop at the Puerta de Tierra, an old marble military fortification from the 18th century. Wander around the Santa Maria district, Cadiz’s oldest quarter and believed to be the birthplace of Flamenco dance! Continue with a visit to the Church of San Juan de Dios and Cadiz Cathedral.
Discover interesting regional products at the Flower Market, before heading to the Tavira Tower (Torre Tavira), one of the highest points of the city. This watch tower holds a dark chamber (camara oscura) with capacity for 18 people, which offers 360-degree panoramic views of the city.
Pass the Teatro Falla and the Canastas Square before entering the emblematic district of La Vina, home to Cadiz’s carnival.
