Had a great trip - well organized and informative.
beautiful...saw so many animals...birds, snakes, army ants, monkeys, royal rats, tarantula, racoons native to the area. Temples are awesome. Rich in culture and history. Our guide was great, spoke English very very well and was knowledgeable.
Brilliant - a really amazing day which exceeded my expectations. Everything went according to plan - really great guide and no delays. Definitely great value.
My wife and I really enjoyed the trip. Our tour guide "Henry" was cordial and informational. We were pleasantly surprised with the complimentary lunch. The guide gave us enough time to explore by ourselves. The pickup and drop were properly coordinated and executed. On the whole, I would highly recommend this trip.
This was an enjoyable and educational trip. Despite the constant rain the day of our trip, our guide was enthusiastic and made the visit very enjoyable. A wonderful lunch was included.
This was an excellent tour, led by our English speaking guide, Miguel. His knowledge of the Mayan culture, history and archeology was immense. It did rain for almost the entire time, but somehow that didn't matter much to me. They sold cheap rain ponchos at the entry way to Tikal (20 Q). It is highly likely that I will return someday for a longer tour, and perhaps stay in Flores for several days, rather than try to squeeze it into one day. This was spectacular.
Great trip, magical place, but a little too long in the airport waiting to go to tikal. Thank you for a special trip with my 16 year old daughter.
Great experience. The guide was very knowledgeable and cordial. Lunch was scrumptious. The rain added so exitement to the trip. Would definitely recommend it.
Money well spent! Highlight of trip. We did it midday in early March and weather was perfect. We used bug spray but no mosquitoes. Lunch was pleasant surprise. It was very good.
We had an amazing guide, Miguel, and he shared a lot of information about Tikal. It rained the entire time we were there almost, which was annoying but I'd like to meet the person who can control the weather! Miguel just kept on with the tour and despite being wet, it was very enjoyable. I would point out that you need to me at a medium level of fitness for this tour as it involves 3-4 hours of hiking/walking. The paths are steep, not always graded, bumpy etc. Anyone with physical mobility issues would find this tour very difficult. The lunch was surprisingly good, and the transport arrangements were all well taken care of from Antigua to Tikal and back again without issue. Recommended!
The actual site was wonderful, BUT the website should stress that this includes some difficult terrain. Some of the paths were washed out our very steep. Twice our tour guide, Manuel, decided to take a short cut through the jungle, and one of our trip participants uses a cane to walk. It was EXTREMELY difficult for her, and Manuel just kept going. Another member was somehow left behind at the first pyramid and we never saw him again until the end when I insisted Manuel walk me back to the beginning, where our lost member was waiting. He did not get to see more than half of the site because he thought he should wait for us to find him. Also, there is NO provision for safely getting up and down the pyramids, no ropes or railings. Please note that participants should sign a safety waiver or be aware of the dangers involved.
