The Wine and Cheese Introduction was the best I have ever had, and I have done quite a few of these. I am not exactly a novice to wine but I wanted to learn more about Bordeaux wines and that I did. In fact Brigitte conducted such a fabulous "class" that I commented to her that this was the most comprehensive and informative wine tasting I have ever done. Brigitte herself is super knowledgeable of her region and its wines and imparted this information to us in such a manner that was easy to understand and at the same time exciting.
The wine shop where she held the class was filled with a wonderful selection of regional wines and had a fabulous cheese room in the basement. We got to try as many of the cheeses as we wanted to; I fell in love with one of the cheeses and asked the owner where I could get it and he was so gracious; he actually went to the cheese room and cut a piece of the cheese and gave it to me. This event was definitely great value for money and exceeded my expectations on every level.
I enjoyed my time in Bordeaux and I have already made plans to return in the Spring.
What a wonderful hostess we had for our Wine and Cheese tasting. There was a good balance of French and English language used and we did not feel excluded! A perfect introduction to the wines of Bordeaux, but we would have liked more information about the cheeses. We loved tasting as many as possible of the cheeses but did not recognise all of them. An educational and fun experience and extremely good value for money. Thank you!

The cheese at this tour is amazing, you are given access to a cheese cellar and can help yourself. Three glasses of wine and a really good presentation on how to taste french wines. You get to try 3 wines from all over Bordeaux.
