Don't be surprised if the bus is up to an hour late. It was fun to drive out of town and see places you don't see on the city tour. We were packed onto the train like sardines, so be prepared to stand, and you need to stay with your group or you may not get off at the same stop they do. The artisan shops were nice, and the prices reasonable. The boat ride was very interesting and has inside or outside seating. They also had desserts for sale that looked quite nice. If you choose lunch, realize that it is at the very end of the tour and isn't until you get back to Puerto Madero--in town--but it was an amazing lunch at a wonderful restaurant on the edge of the port.

The schedule was too tight for my comfort.

This is mainly a bus tour through not very interesting areas. We did not see much of the river coast. The train trip was very short; if it were longer, it might have improved the quality of this trip. The DVD and tango CD were identical to the ones we obtained on another tour, and therefore were simply not worth the money. The water trip around the delta was not very interesting and quite honestly showed little more than a scruffy area in need of redevelopment. We took the option of lunch, which was very good, but we were taken back to Buenos Aires, whereas the advertising leaflet gave the impression that lunch would be in the Tigre area.

I found the tour interesting. I purchased the lunch which was very good but probably would have appreciated a bit more explanation of how and what was included in lunch and where transportation was supposed to pick people up after lunch.

We would have preferred more time on the train and less on the bus in traveling to Tigre. It was a pleasant and relaxing boat ride, viewing the many different boats that travel the Parana River and the vacation cottages along the banks. The color of the water is brown due to the sediment.

It was not the best of days, as it was raining heavily, but the outing was not interesting at all. The best part of the day was the meal.
