Not sure what my tour guide name was but it was his third day on the job. Very pleasant worker he provided great details about the history of the island, wonderful views, and time breaks for exploration. He did well providing us additional scenery to places not listed on the tour. Was able to view the whole island during this tour.
Tour guy did well providing translation in English and Portuguese/ Spanish.
Would recommend you to bring water and not wear sandals, as Aruba is very rocky and you are climbing and walking on various rock formations at different stops.
Great tour, would have liked to see a bit more of the downtown area and its Dutch influence
Marc was very knowledgeable, and had a clean tour vehicle. Good time was had
Very informative. Enjoyed it a lot. Our guide did as terrific job. A wonderful way to start a vacation in a foreign land.
Marco good driver and great tour operator. professional,on time and attentive to others. tour includes rhe main attractions on island and is the easiest way to get a good glimpse on the different parts of the island. The old bridge, the clifts, the architecture, the golf, middle and upper class neighborods, aloa vere plantation....a must when in Aruba.
Great tour of the island. Your is not that long so you won't get bored easily. Tour guide is funny and a lot of fun. You hit all the major spots of the island and get a chance to stop at them. Definitely worth the money.
I was so impressed with this tour. Our guide showed us an amazing time. The most important part of a tour is the guide in my opinion and you cannot top the experience of this one. Just fantastic in every way.
Aruba is a very interesting island and there was no better way to see it than on this Island tour. Our guide gave us insight and information about the island that you cannot receive anywhere else. He has so much passion for Aruba – and it really showed on this tour. Great photo opportunities. Highly recommend.
We had a great time on this tour . Marcus was so informative and he had such a great sense of humor.
This was an outstanding tour, led by Mark, who was wonderful. My all female tour group ( a first for me) was fantastic, fun, insightful and well worth the low cost. I highly recommend this trip for everyone new and/or a seasoned visitor to the island.
I loved it. The driver was very nice, ready to answer questions, and told us what it was like to grow up in Aruba. We got to see where people live, not just the tourist areas. We also got to see the lighthouse, how they make aloe vera gel, baby bridge etc. I liked taking the longer tour and having a little time to snorkel, brought our own gear. No place to change so wear your bathing suit under your clothes. Also got dropped off in Oranjestad. It was very easy then to take the free trolley and it was also easy to take the public bus back to the high-rise hotels. The tour bus driver pointed out the bus station. The bus was almost brand new and very clean, air-conditioned, and comfortable. No bathroom on the bus.
Marco was great along with the tour he explained how Aruba education works. Although we did enjoy the tour and know that Aruba is not that big of a Island it would have been nice to see more.
We had a great time! Our guide, Mark, was very informative and interesting. He was friendly and helpful, and the vehicle was clean and well maintained. We'd definitely recommend this highly and would use this service again.
Our tour guide Mark of Wix Tours was very personable and knowledgeable about the island. We went to each site listed on the page. He called us ahead of time to confirm the date, picked us up at the designated spot and time, and was open to all inquiries about our visit.
My husband, and I were thrill, when we visited the park with the big rocks, and how we were able to clime up the wood stairs to go on top of that giant pile of rock, and take some beautiful picture of the mountain. we will never forget the aloe plants that clear up my skin after the sun. it was a very nice tour, and if i had the money to come back, i would come back right now, i also enjoyed seeing the old light house, the little chapel, the old bridge, i mean everything, in a scale of 1 to 10 , I give this tour an 11.
Highly recommend. The tour guide was awesome in that he was very professional, knowledgeable of Aruba history, very engaging in connecting with others and very friendly. He's the best tour guide I have experienced in Aruba. I really learned a lot through the tour of the island.
The driver, Mark, was a local. Knew all about the Island's landmarks. He also knew about the Island's economy, history and everyday life.
There were only 6 people on our tour so we rode in the guide's personal van. Nice tour of the island
We enjoyed the tour. It was a good value. We learned a lot about Aruba as the tour guide was very informative. The aloe factory was very interesting as well as the cave drawings. Baby beach was beautiful.
The tour was perfect! Our guide Mark was very knowledgable and made us feel right at home. It was a lot of driving but we toured the whole island! Well worth the price! The next time I book an excursion it will be through this site. Initial conflicts in scheduling were resolved within 15 minutes of booking. I was quite impressed. We travel to Aruba yearly; this company will definitely get my business again!
This was an informative drive around the island. The driver was very helpful and added a good commentary without overdoing it. He answered all the questions we had about life on and around the island. I would certainly recommend doing it if you are looking for and interesting few hours to expand your local knowledge. It was good value.
Expected a van of 8-10 people. but had small bus of 20? which wasn't bad. Our guide was Campbell who was knowledgeable and interesting. Stopped at the Aloe Factory interesting. Enjoyed the view from atop the Casibari Rock formations. He drove us out to the Goldmine ruins as we had time. Then stopped at the lovely Alto Vista chapel, where we could walk around for 15 minutes. Driving to the Natural Bridges, saw some beautiful crashing waves along the coast. He urged us not to walk out on the Baby bridge, so as to preserve it: sad to see so many other tourists not respecting the signs. Enjoyed a beautiful ride down to the Colorado Pt lighthouse: an unexpected caution area, larger than the day before as more pieces had fallen from the tower, but still a lovely, very windy and hot view from the high point. Nice ride back through the resort areas, selling us on a return visit of longer. It would definitely be a place we could stay a week and enjoy their beautiful sand beaches. We had enough time to shop on our return.
