Fantastic day! Travel by minivan, ox cart, and elephant. We saw wild monkeys and barking deer and evidence of a tiger that had visited the night before, watch your step. A great lunch at the jungle lodge.

This was a great trip. It really is only about Khao Yai for about a fourth of the day, but the entire itinerary was great. The elephant ride had to be the highlight of our stay in Thailand. The hike to the waterfall was perfect, and the waterfall itself was beautiful. I don't remember the description mentioning a stop at an outdoor market in a small town, but this was definitely a nice bonus. We didn't see a single tourist there, and there was just about every living animal, fruit, and vegetable available for purchase there. Finally, our guide was extremely helpful - he even brought me to a place where I could get milk for my 17-month-old daughter while everyone else was eating lunch! All in all, an absolute steal for an entire day of entertainment.

I loved the ox-cart and elephant rides! These animals are so sweet and awesome and it is such a wonderful experience to be around them. The Khao Yai National Park is beautiful and break taking to walk through. I for sure would recommend this tour to people. One thing to improve on is the vegetarian choices for the lunch of this tour.

Tiring, but i will not admit I'm too exhausted for the elephant ride! Nice experience.

This was a great tour, thanks to an excellent tour guide. We also met a couple of really interesting people, too. The elephant ride was great, as was the National Park. The market we were taken to was a nice touch as well. Highly recommended.

The highlight of my trip to Khao Yai National Park was undoubtedly the elephant ride at the end; what beautiful creatures. I even got to ride my elephant solo with the Thai minder walking ahead of me taking photos for me...and then at the end of the trip, I got to feed my elephant with bananas. Altogether a magical and memorable experience. The trip started with our coach stopping at the early morning markets, then taking a cross country ride on the ox and cart, and then a visit to the waterfall. Wow, those steps are unbelievable, and then on to meet the elephants. All the organisation, including lunch, was done perfectly. Thank you!

A great day out! The oxen cart and elephant rides were brilliant. The walk to the waterfall was good, but beware there were 183 steps that you had to go down to see the falls and then return up the same steps. Overall a great day out!

My main reason for taking this tour was to ride an elephant. My expectations were met. The ox cart ride was fun also.

The tour was good. It included an elephant ride, ox cart ride, and entrance to a national park where we had lunch. The park was approximately two hours outside Bangkok, although we stopped along the way at a local market. It was a bit difficult to confirm the reservation. I was transferred several times and disconnected once and ultimately had to have the hotel call because the tour representative did not speak English well.

The tour guide was very prompt and a really nice person. The food was outstanding and my fellow travellers were great. We all got along very well and had a lot of laughs. I would really have loved to have had the elephant ride by myself, though. All of my pictures are with a complete stranger. Not much of a souvenir.

There were some technical difficulties but otherwise an enjoyable trip.

If you go during January, it's dry season. There are less mosquitoes. On the ox cart ride, you won't see rice paddies because everything is dry. Plus on the short hike in Khao Yai, the waterfall was dried up. However, the elephant ride through the forest was very cool. The elephant takes you into into the river.

Although the tour was through extremely pretty country, no commentary was made to tell us the names of hills nor the history of the park which made the tour less enjoyable.
