The tour was very well organised and we were picked up from our hotel promptly. The tour leader had a lovely sense of humour and was also very informative. The Giant Buddha is well worth seeing and the 11 course vegetarian lunch at the monastery was very tasty. The fishing village was a bit smelly, but what else could you expect when they have dried puffer fish amongst other things. Overall, a great days outing.

Very interesting. Lovely lunch at the monastery and spectacular cable car ride lastly approx 25 minutes, back to the bus. Great day.

Was good; you go to different places in the island, and you get to know other places near Hong Kong and something traditional about the Buddha. Good experience.

We would recommend it to all other people. The trip was well organized. The organization responsible for the pick-up was excellent and our guide was very competent and gave us a lot of information.

We had a fantastic time on this trip. It was well organised but could have had more time to explore the area and shops near the monastery after lunch. The tour guide was extremely helpful.

Excellent tour. We were picked up very early, but passed our hotel again an hour later while still picking up other people! After transferring to the island, we found the old fishing village fascinating and the Giant Buddha amazing. I would have liked to have spent more time at the monastery.

The lunch at the monastery was perhaps the best lunch I had on my trip for the entire two weeks. It was scrumptious.
