This ride was included in the cruise itinerary. We took this classic Nile sailboat to a beautiful botanical garden on an island in the Nile. The boat captain (and only crewman) was an old hand on the river and a character. You see him here with me.

Swimming pool and Jacuzzi were wonderful. At the upper deck the best way to chill out was the pool/jacuzzi.

Here we are in front of a temple in Luxor. The guide took us through and explained the various parts and their functions. You get a sense of the size in comparison with a couple of average sized humans. We found the temples interesting and the skills possessed so long ago impressive.
