The whole trip was wonderful: the boat was classy, the food was good and plentiful, and the staff was excellent. I was pleasantly surprised to have a personal tour guide from start to finish for just my wife and I.

Cruise was fantastic, really relaxing, great activities and a fun way to travel. Our guide made our trip! We loved her, she kept us on our toes, and had a great sense of humour. She was really kind and considerate of us and we learned a lot and saw some amazing sites. Definitely was the best part of our trip!!!

It was terrific to have a private guide. Our guide was very attentive and took excellent care of us during the trip. We also had a good experience with the people from the local agency that Viator used for this who took care of meeting us before the cruise and taking us to the airport afterwards. We saw a lot and are glad we went.

Food, accommodation and staff excellent. Time ashore on cruising day a bit too limited. Overall very happy.

The mirage was clean and beautiful, food was fabulous and crew wonderful. Disappointed with our guide.

An excellent way to experience the Nile and what it has to offer while sitting on top deck surveying the change of scenery, from farming, to fishing, palm trees and lush vegetation to historical sites. The boat trip was well worth our time. The food was excellent with a good variety and pleasant staff. Cabins clean and bright. We are normally independent travelers and this was a welcome change. The private guide was just OK, left us on our own quite a bit which was great as we do our own reading and exploring but for people who don't prepare themselves they would be missing a lot of history and explanations - which is not good. The different modes of transport should be looked at - using a mini bus for just 2 people is not economical or fuel efficient, especially when there were at least 3 different groups of either 2 or 3 people and each group used a different mini bus - not good. We enjoyed the over all experience and think 3 nights on the boat is definitely long enough.

This is the best way to see the upper Nile!

The boat and crew were first rate. Very good attention from the guide, however, as a seasoned traveler, I felt a bit "crowded" by the guide. Tipping is customary in Egypt however, the guide greatly over stated the level to which one must tip which makes me wonder it the cruise company pays too little to the taxi drivers, carriage drivers, crew and others they employ.

Would recommend doing the 3 day Nile cruise on MY Mirage, a good price, good boat. Overall excellent value.

The boat is clean, the food correct and the staff friendly. Our guide was helpful as well. However, for the expensive price especially by Egyptian standards, I was expecting more. The boat is actually cruising only 1 day, so it is probably a much better deal to book very good hotels and to take the train from Aswan to Luxor.

The overall Nile cruise was fantastic. Our guide however, was lazy and wanted to finish all the tours before lunch, despite the fact we had the whole day to complete the touring. He often blamed Ramadan, and even said the weather is draining in the afternoon. Excuses after excuses, we ended up zooming past many monuments, didn't even get taken to some sites like the Obelisk, and feel overall we were paying too much for too little.
