The monasteries were amazing. Also enjoyed the visits to Delphi and Thermopylae. Excellent guides and drivers. Highly recommend.
The tour was amazing. breathtaking views! The tour guide was so well informed and genuine. well worth the money!!!
Absolutely dreamy! I'd do it all over again. Our guides one for Delphi, another for Meteora were knowledgeable, witty, friendly and overall charming. The buses were comfortable, though the hotel we stayed at overnight was basic and nothing too fancy for the 4 stars promised. I met and made friends with very interesting people, and that's always the best part of travelling. Overall a wonderful experience!
Our tour was absolutely amazing. We were on a tour with Martina and the driver was Dmitri. Our tour group was through G.O tours. Our tour driver was great and Martina was very good.
Delphi was nice but Meteora was spectacular. It is a must see. Martina was very helpful and knowledgeable.
Incredible tour, the two guides where really nice . i really enjoyed and learned in this trip
This is a must see! The guide was informative, personable, friendly and knowledgeable.
Really enjoyable tour - super guide (Joy). Took my 11 year old daughter who also loved it.
The tour guide was amazing. He has deep knowledge on the history. Also, specially,Meteora was amazing !!
Thank you very much to our guide Mr. Yannis, he was realy high professional! He exellent knows history and he veru good person, I am so thankfull to Viator for my trip to Meteora and Delphi. Many many thanks!!!
I had the best time on this tour. Tour guides were all great, food and accommodations were fantastic as well. There is no way I would've been able to see and learn as much as I did if I planned to do this independently. Nice to see that the tour is mindful of people with mobility issues as well as families with children.
The tour company was also very well organized, no problems with pick up and delivery. I most definitely recommend this tour, particularly the Meteora part. It's out of this world!
These sites are worth seeing despite long bus trip. Highly recommend. Go for 3-star hotel. Everyone on trip ended up staying at 4star hotel even if only paid for 3.
Great value for money! It is a long drive, but the places you visit make it worthwhile. Delphi is beautiful and the guide's explanation made it so interesting! Meteora is jaw-dropping and a must-see location. The hotels used for this trip were very nice and comfortable, and I wished I had more to stay and enjoy the facilities. I learnt the customers on the 3-day and 4-day tour stay in those hotels for longer, so I would definitely consider those options if you can afford the time.
Amazing price and amazing hospitality. I will deal with you again.
Outstanding trip. It was very well organized and the tour guides were excellent...very knowledgeable and helpful. Meteora is a must to see...unbelievable in beauty!
It was very good value and we had a great tour guide but I can't remember his name. He was amazing as he was so knowledgeable about the history of Greece. Fantastic tour.
A very instructive tour. Both Delphi and the Meteora are spiritually inspiring and naturally beautiful sites. Very helpful and knowledgeable guides.
A great way to see the country side out of Athens. You travel over the mountains with some beautiful scenery on the way to Delphi and Meteora. My only concern is that once reached the ski fields and the mountain tops is that we did not stop for a photo shoot. Would have been great to do so in the ski village. The monasteries are exceptional. Nice trip for 2 days. Enjoyable
The tour was exactly as described! The hotel was great; the pool was refreshing after a full day of touring. The food was great. The tour guide was very helpful and knowledgable. I would recommend this tour if you want to see Delphi and Meteroa.
We had a wonderful time on our two day tour! Irene was our tour guide and she was so knowledgeable and helpful. We went with 5 kids , from ages 11-15, and they all really enjoyed the trip, too. It was a bit of a long drive but the bus was very comfortable, and the stops, and especially meteora itself, were amazing, and worth it all! We learned a lot, and definitely recommend the trip with the tour operators.
This tour was definitely a highlight of our trip. Delphi and Meteora took our breath away...especially Meteora. What amazing monasteries ... the drive was well worth it. The hotel Amalia where we stayed overnight was great. Good sized room, well furnished and delicious meals. The guides on this trip were amazing and it was a great history lesson for us. It was very well organized, plenty of breaks, not too hectic and there was time to relax as well. Strongly recommend this tour.
This is a great way to get out of the busy city of Athens to see two incredible sites. Delphi was breathtaking, with an amazing drive to get up to the site. The lodging was great, and our tour guide was very knowledgeable and kind. Meteora was another highlight, wow! What an incredible site to see!! This is truly not to be missed when doing a trip to Greece!!
The tour was well organized and outstanding. The guides were very professional and excellent knowledge. The bus drivers were also very pleasant and helpful guys. The hotels were our accommodation was arranged - Amalia - was also excellent, clean and the food was outstanding.Everything was well taken care of by the tour company including a wake up call on the second day!The bus tour to Delphi and Meteora were amazing and beautiful. Especially the trip to Meteora with the spectacular views from the top of the mountains and visit to monasteries. Overall it was a wonderful experience, a trip well worth it!
My family really enjoyed this trip. I highly recommend spending a little more on the Meteora trip over the one-day Delphi trip. In the Meteora trip, you also get a stop at Thermopoly where the Spartans (300) battled the Persians (my sons got a big kick out of seeing the battlefield and the terrain) and Meteora was amazing.
It's a long drive to Meteora from Delphi. On the way there, we were doubting whether or not it was worth the hours of driving to get there, but once we were there, we decided it was well worth it. It was an amazing place and a once in a life time opportunity to visit. If you are going to go the long long yards to get to Athens, then to Delphi, you might as well take another day to get to Meteora. It was worth the trip.
