This was beautiful and, most importantly, uncrowded in March. Wildflowers were everywhere. Our guide was informative. The first day was very long riding all the way to Olympia.

Our guide was fantastic and so full of information. It was very enjoyable to travel with him. Our group was small which was great.

Our Three Day Classical Greece tour did not start off very well. We were told to be ready in front of our hotel at 730AM to begin the trip. The bus was only about 10 minutes late, so that wasn't so bad. However, we then sat on the bus for over an hour an a half picking up other guests for a different tour the half day Athens tour. At around 915AM we were dropped off less than 2 blocks away from our hotel and left on the sidewalk to walk for our actual tour bus that would take us on the Classical Greece tour. Had I known that I would have to sit on a bus for over an hour and a half to travel 2 blocks, I would have decline the pick up and simply walked. I do not know why it was organized this way. Our other main concern was the quality of the 'Tourist Class' hotel in Ilis. Although the staff at the hotel were very nice, the hotel itself is abysmal. It is equivalent to a budget hostel. Had they advertised it as such, I would have had no problems. However, we were told that the hotels would be superior. This was not the case. If you go, I would only recommend booking the 'First Class' hotels which are about a 3. The 'Tourist Class' hotels should be rated a 1 or 2 at best. Lastly, at the end of our tour we had to wait an hour and a half for a different bus to bring us back to Athens. There is a lot of waiting around for bus transfers on this tour.
