Great trip for seeing the ruins around Greece. It is pretty fully on with long days. You never seem to get enough time at the sites - but that is probably a sign that you enjoy them. All hotels were excellent, comfortable transport and good guide. We had multiply languages on our tour which did seem to cost us time at the sites. Pick-up and drop-off fine. Only tips - maybe not every lunch was required. We don't really eat lunch (which are offered everyday)and the costs do add up. Be prepared for some reasonable walking (uphill and cobblestones)

The 4 days bus tour was excellent. The pace, hotel and timing were all good for our small group. We were fortunate to have Emilio as our guide. He has a very deep knowledge of Greek history and mythology, which was pleasure to learn and discuss. It is not easy to keep the group interested after so many sites and travels, but he managed to keep his knowledge and intelligent jokes throughout the journey. We really recommend this tour for individuals and family groups.

Great sites to visit, but prepare for a lot of walking and the heat. Not worth the extra long bus trip to visit Meteora.

Felt rushed at Mycenae and Epidaurus, but it was a great way to see a lot of sites in a short amount of time. Guide and driver were excellent. Hotels and food were excellent as well.

This was an excellent tour covering all the most important Greek historical locations. Our guide, 'George' (a qualified archaeologist and tour guide), was excellent. He looked after us very well and gave us all the information we needed. Accommodation at the 3 Amalia Hotels we stayed at in Napflion, Delphi and Kalambaka was satisfactory, though of a lower standard than expected. The hotels were large with very nice common areas but slightly tired rooms that needed refurbishment. And we paid extra for first class, rather than tourist class hotel accommodation. Maybe we only got tourist class hotel rooms, because lower class rooms than the ones we had would have been unacceptable? The hotels were all a fair way out of town. This was ok for the conducted tour, but would have been a problem for independent travellers who wanted to spend time in the towns. Overall, an excellent tour, with only the hotel room quality dropping the rating from 5 to 4 stars.

I enjoyed the tour very much and the guides were very informative. However, I was disappointed when on the 3rd day some of us had to leave our group to join another group on another bus with another guide. The hotels were spacious but I thought it a little disconcerting when at the end of the day the tourist class and first class passengers were sent to different hotels and not able to eat dinner together. Everything else was very good.

This was a wonderful tour. Everyone on the tour got along great. We all bonded and exchanged e-mails to keep in touch. Our guide and driver were wonderful. Visited wonderful sites. Food was great also. The only complaint was 2 of the hotels could have been a little more updated, But they all had swimming pools. This use to be a 5 day tour, but now is a 4 day, so it makes for long days. I think it sould be back to 5, so there is some time to rest at the hotel and visit the local villages
