Seeing the Acropolis up close is worth the hike. Somehow it seems to be flat and not as high. We saw all the landmarks and our guide was very knowledgeable. However, the guide did walk very fast and some people had difficulty keeping up. She also spent a long time using Greek names, which were not as familiar to some of us.

The tour was well worth doing, but would have been more enjoyable if the Acropolis had not been last, as that was the hottest part of the day. The guide was excellent.

Good overview of key historical sights of Athens. Informed and personable English speaking guide. Had 40 min. wait on bus after hotel pick-up before start of tour. Other passengers complained that they had been picked up one hour earlier which was bothersome. That is only complaint, but it should be addressed!

We enjoyed the tour, learnt many historical facts and enjoyed the interesting anecdotes. The tour leader was very well informed and pleasant company. Perhaps the tour could have included entry to the Athens National Archaeological Museum to take the place of the promised Acropolis Museum, which was closed. Otherwise, we had no complaints.
