With limited time in the city, nice to have things explained and see the sights.

Good overview of key historical sights of Athens. Informed and personable English speaking guide. Had 40 min. wait on bus after hotel pick-up before start of tour. Other passengers complained that they had been picked up one hour earlier which was bothersome. That is only complaint, but it should be addressed!

We enjoyed the tour, learnt many historical facts and enjoyed the interesting anecdotes. The tour leader was very well informed and pleasant company. Perhaps the tour could have included entry to the Athens National Archaeological Museum to take the place of the promised Acropolis Museum, which was closed. Otherwise, we had no complaints.

Good tour, although the first hour and a half was spent going from one hotel to another to pick up passengers. We were first on the list with a 7:30 a.m. pickup time, and the actual tour didn't start until after nine.

Good for a basic tour, covers quite a bit in a short time.

Generally a good overview of the highlights of Athens. The motor coach was very comfortable.

This tour was disappointing, & it could have been so much better. The Acropolis was closed when we were on the tour. We later found out that this was due to a strike & we would have appreciated finding this out earlier, so after doing the stops that had been planned & were great to see we went to a museum in the Acropolis' place. First off they needed a better substitute place to go, as a tour of a museum was the opposite of what we had booked. Second as the museum was packed we couldn't actually hear our guide, some sort of speaker headphone system would have helped. Third we were walked around at lightening speed for 1 & a half hours walking past many interesting relics & then given 30 minutes for ourselves, the other way around would have been better, especially as we were travelling with a child. While our guide knew what she was talking about, she had to give the information in 2 languages, which left us missing some of what she was saying as it could take awhile to realise that she was speaking English again. Then to finish off the tour our guide just hopped off of the bus, not letting us know what was happening & leaving us to try to work it out with the bus driver who only spoke Greek.

Knowledgeable guide. Doesn't include everything you would want to see in Athens, but delivers what it promises.

The tour guide was very hard to understand and was visibly not a patient person. Understanding her was difficult not because of her accent, but because she spoke so quietly to the group. At the Acropolis, people were trying to take pictures and she was frustrated that they would leave the group to do so, and wouldn't say anything until they returned. Had she just explained that people would get the chance later, she would not have had a problem. My wife and I could have done this on our own and learned the same thing. Everything we did with a bus was within walking distance.

Boring! Would have been better off buying a guide to Athens and doing it myself. Guide gave too much information. Too hot to sit around and listen to in-depth stories.

The tour guide just wasn't that interesting; I could just have done this on my own.
