Must do tour in Athens! If you don't do anything else, take this tour. Preferable to be the 1st tour you take. The tour guide knows a lot about archeology. This was important as it gave an excellent perspective on the subject. The way she presented was fun and made the material interesting.

The Athens Half-Day Sightseeing Tour was excellent. The commentary was very informative and needed to fully enjoy and appreciate the sights. You could go "see" the sights yourself without the tour, but if you want to have an informative "experience", go with the tour.

Perfect way to experience the highlights of Athens in a morning. Comfortable, modern tour bus stopped at numerous sites, staying long enough to take plenty of photos and soak up the history. Our guide was an archeology professor who had authored guide books on Athens and participated in numerous local "digs", so she had great insight and details that were a plus! She timed our walk up to the acropolis at a slow and steady pace, stopping to interject information in the shady spots. The leader of the group next to us was less wise. One of his clients ended up passing out from exertion in the heat. Following the tour, we asked the guide to suggest a restaurant for lunch. It was only a couple of blocks from where the tour ended, and it was BY FAR the best meal of our whole trip!

We really enjoyed the tour even though we had already had a tour that incorporated the Acropolis. I would definitely recommend it for those who are first timers in Athens.

The tour was great! Saw many of Athens's attractions and rode in a really nice air-conditioned bus. Tour guide was very knowledgeable and gave us plenty of time at each site.

Pick up at the hotel was on time. The only downside of the tour was that the tour leader spoke too much. There was not enough time to walk around and take pictures.
