Excellent way to get around Athens without spending too much or climbing too many hills! Pick up point near Piraeus and fairly direct to the Acropolis from there there. Hopped on again after the Acropolis and did the hour tour then hopped off at the Plaka for lunch. Earphones and audio tour included.

We used Hop-on Hop-off in 4-5 cities in the last year, and I have to say that this one was a good one. It took us to the good spots quickly and was on time. Also, the audio system was working fine (not like in other hop on hop off we took).

There were riots in Athens on the day we arrived so were only able to do 1/2 the trip we had arranged, but what we did was very good

Excellent. Bus stopped right outside the cruise terminal and dropped off in front of the Acropolis. What more could you ask for.

Worthwhile tour. I enjoy the flexibility of these tours and the headsets are fun. Enjoyed touring the acropolis at our own speed. Easy to find the bus stops. Little farther walk to the cruise ship entrance then we expected. A few extra buses at the end of the day to get us back to the ship on time would make it less stressful but they allowed everyone on board so that was great.

Very easy way to get around Athens and get a chance to see a little of everything if you're there for just the day. A absolute must if you have a cruise, as they pick you up right at the port! Be sure to stop at the Acropilis later in the day if possible, much busier in the morning!

Our visit to Athens was marred by strike action in the center of the city, but the bus was able to drive through earlier in the day without incident, and we enjoyed the rest of our day at the Acropolis

We visited Athens whilst on a Mediterranean cruise and had pre-booked our Athens Hop-On, Hop-Off Tour. However, we ended up using it just to get us to the Acropolis and then back to the port at the end of the day. In that respect, the service was excellent.

Good way to get around and see the city. There are representatives at the main stops. There are 2 lines that connect. The audio tour is good. Athens was total chaos.

Finding the bus was quick and easy, but the crowds were awful at the Parthanon.. Make sure you buy your Parthanon tickets ahead of time as the lines can be long.and the day we were there waits were 90 minutes and they did not take CC. The hop on hop off was as promised but very full busses to the site and return buses had long wait times becuase of the crowd volume.
