Our tour guide was the best we had on our entire trip.
all were good but i hoped to see the sun set and I could not because the return
We had a good time, the view and site and of course history are extraordinary. I just expected to be there for the sunset...but the Chatours picked us up too early for that. All in all it was a good experience.
We were picked up promptly at the organised time after calling them the day before to confirm our booing. the bus was comfortable, and the tour guide was amazing. She passed on lots of history and information in incredibly clear English. Our drive to the site went quickly. Cape Sounion and the Temple of Poseidon was great to visit....very windy, not much to see, but thoroughly enjyable. A great tour to do to discover small amounts of Greece outside Athens.
Coach was on time. Guide was good and quite knowledgable. Temple was impressive. We'd heard about the amazing sunsets at Cape Sounion but the timings if the trips don't allow for this. Still it was a good day out, well organised, informative and beautiful views.
The tour guide had an excellent base of knowledge and presentation of the history surrounding the Temple of Posedion and we would reccomend this to anyone wanting to see an area outside of the City itself.
This tour was really great......The drive out to Cape Sounion was so beautiful, it's all along the coast.....The temple of Poseidon is in an amazing location and we learned a lot from our guide.....I would have liked more time at the site, the tour felt a bit rushed......But it's well worth doing....
The drive to Cape Sounion is very beautiful along the coast. Unfortunately we only had one hour from the time we arrived to see the site and we rushed through it so we would have time to eat at the cafe. It would be nice to have a little more time.
We took this tour on our first afternoon in Athens prior to visiting the Acropolis the following morning. We are pleased we did it this way otherwise this visit might have been a bit of an anti-climax. Very scenic drive out of Athens, lovely views over the Aegean from the site, would be great at sunset but we left a few hours before this event. This is a great tour to take on a first afternoon in the city because you get to see something of Athens, the Piraeus area, the picturesque coastline and of a course an interesting historical site.
This was a beautiful trip. Maybe we could have had a bit longer at the archaeological site but otherwise it was perfect.
