Although a bigger group than a thought the Delphi day trip is a can't miss. Our guide was very knowledgeable and the views are unreal up there.
It was a great trip! Make sure you bring water. I read that you should not get the lunch and go into town to eat at a local restaurant, so we did that. The food was great, but we only had an hour and had to rush through our meal and didn't get to finish all of it before we had to rush to meet our bus, which we nearly missed. Everyone said the dinner that you can get with the tour was great, so I would not recommend goin into the town. We were too rushed to enjoy the food
Daphne was our tour guide - wonderful from start to finish. Lunch at the Amalia Hotel at Delphi was a suprise and was excellent.
The tour was great. Joy our guide was very informative and we felt we learned a lot. Everything ran on time from the hotel pick-up through to the end of the trip. Our group was small and there was a nice mix of free time and being guided. April is a good time to visit Delphi as the weather is sunny but the temperatures are mild. The museum at Delphi houses the original pieces from Delphi and has some unique treasures. The countryside heading into the mountains and passing through a ski village adds to the trip.
A great all day trip from Athen
This tour was simply amazing. If you go to Athens, you HAVE to go to Delphi, its an easy one day trip, with lunch included, which was at an amazing restaurant down from the mountaintop, we feasted like kings and the staff was super friendly and warm. Our tour guide was very friendly and knowledgeable and excited to explain all about Delphi. We got to see all of the major sites and had time during the one day trip to explore the museum there with the guide explaining everything in great detail that we were seeing. The ONLY issue about the one day version of this tour is that it does not leave enough time to go down to the Sanctuary of Athena, where the famed Tholos is. If you are quick you can basically jog down there after the main tour and catch back up with the group once they are in the museum. I wasn't going to miss this opportunity so the guide was helpful in telling me to go down to the Tholos first and then come back up to the museum, I had time to do both and was grateful I got to see everything. Easily the best money spent on my trip.
Thanks to Daphni our tour guide we had a great day with a fun group on the most beautiful day. Lunch was a good reward after the steep climb to the stadia and the tour of the museum is not to be missed. Thanks to all for a fabulous day.
This was a fantastic tour and well worth the money. The guide, who was excellent, gave information not only about the actual temple and surrounding buildings at Delphi but also about every place of interest on the journey. She also added information about various areas of Greece and the myths and legends connected to them. An excellent lunch was included so this trip was most interesting, enjoyable and informative.
We had a great day. Our tour guide for the day (so sorry can't remember her name) had such a passion for what she was telling us that you couldn't help but want to hear more and more. We went on our own for lunch to Delphi town and sat outside at a restaurant and had a wonderful meal. A thoroughly enjoyable day. Thank you.

My wife and children travelled by a minibus. Excellent tour for young and old ! The guide knew everything from Athens to Delphi. We didn't take the lunch option. There are places to get food, and just nice to walk around the area.
Everyone in our group loved the experience. The guide was outstanding and even impressed one of the group who has taught this subject.
Great day with a fabulous guide. Delphi is beautiful and if you do one trip out of Athens then make it to here. Lunch was great with 3 very good courses and I had a fabulous time on this trip.

We loved this tour! Our guide was informative and interesting. The lunch was good and the museum tour was educational and not too long. Delphi is a gorgeous place-- if you are visiting Athens, be sure to travel up to Delphi.
This was such an awesome day trip! The bus ride was great; you get to see so much of Greece that you don't get to see by staying in Athens. The ruins were incredible and the tour guide was excellent!! We accidentally left our bag on the bus and the company returned it to our hotel the next day!
