If you can only do one thing in Athens, make it this! Kostos was the greatest guide we could have asked for, being entertaining, fun, and well informed. He made sure everyone had a great time, and wasn't left feeling rushed. The hidden treasures of the tour were unforgettable!
Our guide was a hoot. Very knowledgable and charismatic. Enjoyed the day immensely. Might have been my favorite part of the week. Nice small group.
I loved this tour. Adam who is the owner of the company took me through certainly the hidden parts as well as the well known parts of Athens. He told stories from such a personal perspective that the city came to life. We went through hidden alleys and came to an area what looked like you were on one of the islands but it is just under the Acropolis. We had a beautifull picnic on the hill overlooking the Acropolis and even the food was made by the owner. He just started cooking class this year as well and I would not mind trying hat next time. Love every minute of this tour.
Kostas our guide was awesome! He really knows the place and its history and he's really down to earth. we got to see so many cool places we wouldn't have if we didn't go on this tour. The lunch and wine is great over a fantastic view. This tour made us love Athens. Plaka was incredible.
I had a fantastic time on this tour. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly and funny. No one in the group was left out, and she created an atmosphere a great atmosphere. There was of course a lot of walking, but it was always at a manageable pace with lots of stops along the way for more facts about the area. Plus the Greek food and wine was lovely. Would highly recommend!
Our guide was in the Greek military when he was younger and was one of the guards that stand out in front of the Greek Parliament building wearing the unique costume. He knew a lot of inside information and made the tour very interesting.
A great way to start our trip to Athens. Kostas gave us a very lucid and interesting history of Greece, linked to each stop on our journey, from ancient through to modern Greek history. We gained an overall feel for the city and the culture and saw parts of the city centre we never would have found on our own. We were often the only people at the places we stopped, despite the busy tourist season. We then found our own way to the Acropolis etc the following day.
This was a excellent tour. The guide was the best and made it informative and fun, It was a small group which worked great with this type of tour.
Our guide was excellent so much local knowledge and a unique way of telling her stories, by giving people in the group names of the gods and legends. We had so much fun we didn't even realise how far we had walked. Felt like a personalised service even though there were 6 people in our group. Great bunch of people to do a tour with. Recommend this highly.
This tour and our guide Costa were wonderful. Costa is one of the finest guides I've encountered internationally. Top-notch! I learned so much and his passion for the country palpable. The walk is steep and rocky in a few places so good shoes are required.
Awesome tour they were super nice to me, and made sure everything was perfect! Take this tour even if you think you know Athens already there are secret places tourist do not get to see often!
Our guide, Costa took us on a great walk in Athens. Highly recommended.

Our Guide Costas made THIS tour the most memorable ever! It was personalized and we were able to talk about Greece be it history or present day politics...it made us fall in love with the country even MORE!!!
A+ tour. We took the morning tour the day after we arrived in Athens. It really got us familiar with the Central District of Athens. Our tour guide was incredible!! He was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. We would recommend this tour to everyone who wants an intimate experience with both the history and culture of Athens, both past and present.
This tour was excellent. I have been to Athens once before, our tour guide showed us sites that we didn't know existed. I would recommend
Excellent tour. The day was full of unexpected surprises. Great value.
Fantastic way to discover Athens. Kostas is extremely personable and knowledgable and made our morning entertaining as well as highly informative in a private tour. If you're visiting Athens, you won't be disappointed with this tour.
Marisa our guide was absolutely top notch. An unemployed archaeologist turned tour guide thanks to the recession she was an absolute fount of information as well as a fun guide. We walked at a reasonable pace and took in numerous sites which were entertainingly and informatively explained. Marisa linked in information that she had told us previously in to the new attractions. We had a wonderful picnic with a fabulous view of the Acropolis to top off the tour. One of the best guided tours I have ever taken.
We did 2 tours, one in the acropolis, and this walking tour.
We loved how this walking tour showed us some of the character of area around the acropolis.
Tour guide was knowledgeable and warmly shared his love of Greece.
We had a very enjoyable morning, and loved the picnic lunch with a great view of acropolis.
I cannot recommend this tour highly enough! Our wonderful guide Kostas met us promptly and went on to show us parts of Athens we would never have seen and gave us unique and personal insights into the beautiful city. Kostas is so smart and personable that we felt truly like friends well before the end of the tour and so wished that he could come with us to Italy, where we were headed next. His passion for history and sharing the culture of his country, city, and people is immediately palpable. It is for this reason that he keeps his tours small and personal--we got him all to ourselves and he strives to keeps groups intimate. We walked the beautiful National Gardens, learned about the guards (and watched them change!) outside of Parliament, ordered traditional drinks to keep cool in the summer sun, learned about architecture, explored the hidden village under the Acropolis, and saw one of the best views in the city from Hadrian's Arch, to name a few. This tour is an absolute must for anyone who wants to live like an Athenian for a few perfect hours and learn all about the city's sites and sounds. My mother, an art history professor, my friend, and I (a school psychologist and high school English teacher respectively) continue to refer to this tour as a trip highlight! Thank you so so much, Kostas!
This was a truly lovely experience. A relaxed walk through the National Gardens and up through Plaka into "hidden"Athens, It was a part of Athens I would not have seen by myself - it is hidden! And so beautiful and peaceful. Then a lovely picnic lunch on Philopappou Hill looking over to the Acopolis. My guide Kostas was excellent and made the tour perfect. Loved it, highly recommend it.
