2-Day Mykonos Experience from Athens

Kick back and relax by the beach or live it up in one of the many nightclubs Mykonos is famous for on this two day island escape from Athens.

Although one of the smallest islands of the Cyclades complex, Mykonos definitely makes up for it thanks to its treasures of natural beauty, rich history, cosmopolitan character combined with a wild nightlife, as well as plenty of local color.

The island boasts many beaches where you can soak up the sun and the atmosphere. Be sure to get there early especially in the summer months. Watch the sunset with the water lapping at your feet from one of the many waterside bars in the Little Venice quarter or for some serious partying, head to one of the many late night dance clubs.

If you're after a bit of history and culture, the island has five museums you can visit as well as a beautiful church. The church of Panagia Paraportiani is located beyond the Delos Ferry Quay on the way to Little Venice.

Just off Mykonos is the sacred island of Delos. The island is one of the most important archaeological sites in Greece, and certainly the most important in the Cyclades. Ferries depart from the Old Jetty at the western end of the harbor and can be booked directly.

Day 01: Athens - Piraeus Port - Mykonos

You will be picked up from your hotel and transferred to Piraeus port. After embarkation on the ferry, during your four hours cruise you will have the change to see the islands of Syros and Tinos. Arriving at the port of Mykonos you will be transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day is yours to explore the most famous of the Cycladic Islands. Enjoy its rustic windmills, churches, whitewashed houses, beautiful beaches and the cosmopolitan nightlife.

Day 02: Mykonos - Piraeus Port - Athens

The day is yours at leisure or why not take an optional excursion to nearby Delos Island! In the afternoon you will be transfered to the port for your trip back to Piraeus. Upon arrival you will be transferred to your hotel in Athens.
