Tour guide gave relevant information but did not talk off my ears. Wine experience was excellent plus the wine bottle prices were extremely economical.
This was an excellent tour. The winery tour was interesting, and the man who showed us around and walked us through the entire process was amazing, and you could feel that he loved his job. Our guide did a god job of making sure we enjoyed ourselves.
We had an amazing time on this trip! Small, intimate group meant we got the most from our fantastic local guide. Great way to see a bit more of Greece, would highly recommend.
The tour of Corinth was very informative. Just the right amount of information and picture time. The canal was very impressive. The wine tasting was great too! I recommend to all.
We were a small group of 6 2 from UK,2 from USA and ourselves from Toronto Canada. It was a fantastic day,the guide was great and the winery was fantastic. We have done several wine tastings around the world, but never in Greece, although I had heard of the Nemea area.Don't miss this opportunity to get out of Athens for a wonerdfull day
The historical information provided by the guide was awesome. Because we were a small group she also answered a lot of questions about the area while traveling. Really enjoyed the wine-tasting and felt the PR director there was very personable. I would recommend this tour to anyone.
Tour was Brilliant, good stop at the canal. Amazing views of ruins and statues at Corinth. The wine tour was amazing, probably the best wine we have ever had. Tour was more like a full day tour though.
Awesome trip! Ancient Corinth was worth seeing. The tour guide was great and the wine tour was very good.
Our guide was outstanding and the winery visit and tasting was exceptional. We enjoyed the visit to the Corinth canal and to ancient Corinth. Hotel pickup was timely, but we wish that we'd known we'd have to get to the office before starting the tour.
This was an amazing tour. The ruins at ancient Corinth were fascinating and were put into excellent perspective by our very friendly and knowledgeable tour guide who was fluent in English. The wine tasting was a lot of fun and we ended up purchasing several bottles from the winery. I would definitely recommend this tour to others.
My rating is really a 4 1/2 but I couldn't give it a full five stars simply because of the timing. There was no time scheduled for lunch and we left in the morning and returned late in the afternoon. There was a stop at the canal for approximately 30 minutes, but by the time we saw it, there was no time to eat and there's no eating allowed on the bus. By the time we returned to Athens we were starving. They need to re-think that timing. Perhaps start a little later so the stop is timed for lunch.
However, everything else was amazing. Our tour guide, Christina, was incredible. Her English was almost perfect and she seemed to know EVERYTHING. She was funny, articulate and extremely knowledgeable. She even knew the answers to questions about random things we passed in Athens that had nothing to do with our tour. We loved her, and if you have a choice, choose her to be your guide (at least for English tours).
While kind of short, the stop at the canal is breathtaking. I've never seen anything like it. The pictures we took are equally incredible and it's the type of thing I would go see again.
Corinth is basically another set of ruins, but it's different because there are remnants of TWO eras, the Greek and the Roman, which are distinguished by the use of marble (Greek) or brick (Roman). Seeing the Roman toilets, which are the basis for modern toilets, is amazing because they are somewhat in tact. Not to mention the old "agora" (shopping area) where one "booth" still has its original shelves with items on it! Although not quite as well known as the Acropolis, this site has things that make it stand out.
The winery was actually quite fun. The wine itself isn't for everyone, but our host was funny, hospitable and knowledgeable, and the place itself is pristine and state-of-the-art. The prices are very affordable and the scenery is great for photos.
We loved everything about the tour except not having time to eat. Highly recommended!
This tour didn't have enough people, so the local tour company offered a same day tour to Delfi at no additional charge. All went well.
If you love wine and history of biblical area of Corinth, then it's a must! Love the drive...and sightseen on the way to Corinth. You also get to eye witness the Corinth canal! The tour of winery, the educational tutorial n the taste of different wine was awesome! And you can buy them for discounted price! That was plus2... The bus driver and the guide was super friendly and kind... This was very nice tour!
The tour was good and delivered what was promised; a very good day trip.
The bus picked us up at our hotel and was on time. Our tour guide was very well informed and was knowledgable of the ancient sites. She also gave us great recommendations on what else to check out. The tour lasted about 6 hours and ended on time. We got back to our hotel and still have enough time to walk around Ermou street, have early dinner and then drinks!
This was a great day trip! Excellent tour guide, enough time to do see and do everything. And tasty wine!
The guide Christina was excellent and gave us information on the city all the way to Corinth were she continued to give us expert information. The visit to Corinth was intriguing as well as we got to see some history and where St Paul last stood in Greece. We also got to see some statues and where some items that were being restored. The only thing that you need to know here is if you want to shop you need to do it right as you finish your walkthrough as there is not enou time allocated for that. That also may have beendue to the fact that were delayed because when we visited the canal one of the members in our tour decided to bungy jump of the bridge which delayed us for 30 minutes.
Next was the gem of the trip which was the wine tasting. We were given a great tour all around the facility and expert wine advise on how to sample and taste future wines. We purchased several excellent blends and were even given a discount. We also got back in time to continue sightseeing in Athens. an excellent way to spend a halfway tour. Friendly people all around Greece which led to a great time.
Great way to see Ancient Corinth. The vineyard was wonderful with delicious wine! Only downside would be it felt a little rushed to get through some of the stops.
I think my experience on this trip was less than perfect because my tour guide was a little bit rude and treated all of her group like we were idiots. However, the site itself was beautiful. The vineyard that we visited was really beautiful, and made the trip for me. Very informative and delicious wine. Good day all in all.
