What You Can Expect

Auckland Harbour Sightseeing Cruise with Round-Trip Devonport Ferry Ticket

Auckland Harbour Cruise

Head to the Auckland Ferry Terminal to embark on your 1.5-hour sightseeing cruise, which takes you from Waitemata Harbour into the island-studded Hauraki Gulf. Hear about the Auckland area’s key landmarks from the crew as you pass by the Sky Tower, Auckland Harbour Bridge, Bean Rock Lighthouse and the Devonport Naval Base.

The boat makes a 10-minute stop (weather permitting) at Rangitoto Island, a 600-year-old volcanic island renowned for its jagged lava rock, lush vegetation and pristine coves. You’re served complimentary morning or afternoon tea before returning to Auckland.

During your stay, use your complimentary round-trip ferry ticket to the picturesque village of Devonport, located just 12 minutes from downtown Auckland. Stroll past the Victorian boutique–lined streets, enjoy views from Mt Victoria or North Head, or visit one of the many cafes or chocolatiers in the seaside town. Your ferry ticket is valid for one year.

Very pleasant way to fill in a couple of hours in Auckland on the harbour before having to board our flight home.

4 star rating: Recommended September 2015

Great afternoon cruising along the harbour with really good information on the city and its history. Great views, too. Got a chance to stop off at Rangitoto for about 15min. The Devonport ticket is not part of the main tour, which was good because you can do that trip at your leisure within 12mths. I went to Devonport that afternoon and it's just beautiful. I think this tour would be even better in Summer I went just at the end of Winter, so a bit cold. Definitely recommend to anyone with an afternoon to spare in Auckland.

A good tour and was very much as we anticipated it would be.

4 star rating: Recommended February 2015

Very interesting tour with lots of photo opportunities. Definitely make use of the Devonport ferry tickets.

Great way to see the city waterside, especially when blessed with the wonderful weather we had on the day

3 star rating: Worth doing July 2015

Quite good tour and Devonport is interesting.

2 star rating: It was OK, but could have been better November 2015

Quite disappointed with how boring this sightseeing cruise was. The commentary was very average and the sights themselves not really what we thought we were getting. The afternoon tea was also a bit of a let down. As we didn't use the round-trip Devonport Ferry ticket it wasn't value for money.
