Excellent tour. The Driver/Guide is an asset to Bush and Beach who operate this tour on your behalf. She was helpful, Polite, knowledgeable and nothing appeared too difficult. The package was excellent with sufficient time to enjoy the day.

The whole experience was a positive one for our family (including a 13 and 10 year old). The driver, Wayne, from the moment he picked us up at our Auckland Hotel was excellent for the whole day. The tour guide at Hobbiton was exceedingly good. Having a small group 11 people all together meant our experience was a very intimate one. Fantastic life experience.

This trip was excellent. We started early in the morning which was good so that the return by 3 PM could be met. The 2 hour bus ride was broken up by a morning coffee/tea/pastry break. We arrived early before the bus loads of tour groups. Lunch was served by our tour guide. On the way back we stopped for some well known ice cream. There were only four of us and the guide was informative and friendly. He really tried to make our day pleasant.

my wife enjoyed the tour very much. She is a fan of the Lord of the ring and Hobbits. I also had a good time. The trip was quite long.

We looked forward to the Shire tour with great anticipation and were not disappointed. It was a delightful last day of our visit to New Zealand. Anyone who loves the Lord of the Rings movies will totally enjoy seeing the Hobbiton movie set and perhaps having a glass of South Farlington ale.

Best Tour for LOTR and The Hobbit fans, this place is a MUST, very beautiful and there’s a green dragon pub opened now! Ginger Beer is great. The guide is very nice and helpful! 3

Long drive from Auckland but lots of fun. I have now seen the Hobbit movie and to be able to see the scenery that we saw on the movie set was amazing.
