We had a fabulous time. Well worth the money. Our guide was excellent, extremely knowledgable. Viator made it a very comfortable excursion.
Best tour I have with viator. Rachel the driver took care of us. Timing was good. The spots were seen in a timely manner . For a one day tour definitely worth the trip and the price.
It was a long day but the bus driver and his commentary was incredible. It was very well organized and I was surprised by the amount of food given throughout the day! It was a wonderful day trip and I enjoyed it very much. We even got to see the geyser erupt and an authentic Maori show on their reservation. A great way to experience all things New Zealand.

The tour is very well designed to put all must see attractions into a single day trip.
Especially for visitors only have a short stay in Auckland like us.
Booking through Viator website is very easy and straight forward.
All of attractions and events were well worth to see and commentary on board was a plus.
The tour operator also provides hotel pick up and drop off as well as a boxed lunch and light snack in the morning and in the evening.
After all, the experience we had was very good.
Thoroughly enjoyed the tour. Well informed Bus Driver and tour guides. Pity that it rain, howeverI would still recommend the tour.
Perfect, Great, Excellent.
Will never forget this trip, me, my wife and daughters had a great and happy day.
I liked a lot that tour. However I think it was be better if time to watch show had been shorter and time to see geiser had been longer.
The caves were magical. The glow worms were amazing. Watching the sheep shearing was a new experience and Rptorua was fascinating. We saw our very first live rendition of the Haka which is better than seeing it on TV.
Pick up from hotel as arranged and off we went. Driver provided commentary which made journey more interesting. Wait at caves was short and our guide took us off on our tour of the caves. The guide was informative and all too quickly our time in the silence of the caves was over. Next was the Agrodome where once again we were entertained by our guide, first in the Sherri got sheep then in our tourlf the farm animals. Finally Rotorua and the well oiled combination of our driver and guide soon saw us inside and on our way to the Haka. This was entertaining and again the commentary hit the right level. Once outside it was off to see the geothermal features and they did not disappoint, even the geyser erupted for us. I thought this was all there was to see but no in a specially adapted building there were kiwis, as this was my final trip in NZ it was a very fitting finale.
Huge day and totally worth it! The tour provides a wonderful range of NZ life, the glow worms are a definite highlight.
A very long day but well worth it. The caves and glow worms were amazing, the Agradome was informative and interesting, and the Maori center with geysers was entertains. The trip was well organized with good food and wifi on the bus.
Trip was very enjoyable, caves were amazing. we enjoyed everything about the trip. The driver/guide was very friendly and helpful. Would recommend this trip to anyone.
Really nice, action packed, interesting extremely well organized trip! I believe our driver/guides name was Ian. Ian was wonderful!! I was surprised that he had the responsibility of driving the bus and providing such interesting information on our tour but he did everything beautifully. I would highly recommend this trip. Next time I would spend at least 1 night in Rotorua.
Bus driver was amazing. Taught us so much along the trip and made the bus ride a lot more enjoyable. The caves were amazing, and we were able to get dropped off at Rotorua!
It was amazing! Though it was a long trip yet it was worth it because we got to go to a lot of different places. The food they served was delicious too! The tour guide/driver was very knowledgeable, funny and entertaining!
This one day tour is a pretty cool way to see as much as you could in one day.
We left Sky City at around 730am, and drove down to the glow worm caves. Did the glow worm cave tour which was spectacular.
The tour bus Driver was very knowledgeable and kept us entertained the whole time with information and facts about the area.
Lunch was quite nice, and eaten on the bus to stay on schedule. We then went to agrodome where we got up close and personal with the animals and again a very knowledgeable farmer discussing NZs farming history and practices.
The last stop was Rotorua and includes a Native Maori greeting and demonstration, and then a guided tour of the geothermal mud pits and geysers.
Yet again the guide was absolutely brilliant and this was the highlight of the day for me.
We then headed back to Auckland direct which was a long haul on the bus, but all in all a wonderful day, and a great way to get a feel for the areas surrounding Auckland!
A full day tour packed with activities. Our informative driver kept us entertained and organized for the various sub-tours enroute. Waitomo Caves were magical as we silently floated in a small boat with a miriad of tiny lights from the glow worms above our heads. We also enjoyed the sheep shearing and herding demo at the farm and the traditional Maori songs and dances at Rotorua. The three snacks/meals onboard were fresh and of high quality.
