This tour was a great way for those short on time to see the outback. We actually chose the camping out experience as opposed to spending the night in what turned out to be a touristy little town in Ayers Rock - not that the camping isn't done in a very organized, tourist friendly manner. We had two tour guides who were great, a primary guide and a German speaking guide for the German group that was travelling with us. In terms of the tour itself, we left early from Alice Springs and made several stops along the way. We did a very hot walk/hike around the Olgas, then saw the Uluru sunset, followed by a BBQ at the camp. The stars were awesome for people who wanted to sleep outside. There were different options the next morning for walking around Uluru - hiking up, walking around, and doing a very short walk with the tourist center. We were then dropped off at the airport as we had a flight out, however, the tour went on to another night out camping and more hiking. Recommend highly!
