We opted to do this simply because we needed a refresher course for scuba diving and absolutely loved it. There were two other girls who were first time scuba divers and had a marvelous time - would highly recommend.

This was the highlight of my trip to Sydney! The staff is very nice and patient, and it is an experience not to be missed. The sharks and rays come so close, it was worth every penny!

I thought the shark dive was superb! I did this with two other people from the office, and we had a great time. Read the full report on the Viator Travel Blog. Kelly also posted photos from our shark dive on Flickr. And yes, there's even a video of our shark dive posted on YouTube.

The shark dive was an incredible experience! I'd never been diving before, but the instruction was really good and I felt very comfortable the scuba gear. I thought I would be more scared, but the guides are great and the experience was very safe. Not only were the sharks amazing, but the rays and other sea creatures were fantastic to see up close. I highly recommend checking this out if you are in Sydney, it's a a one of a kind experience.

The aquarium itself may have been just OK if you were one of the spectators on the conveyor belt but I did the shark dive and it was the best thing I did in my month away. Highly recommended to anyone who, like me, has a fascination with sharks.

The staff were friendly and helpful and the dive went off without a hitch. All four of us were first-time divers and the hand-on pre-dive preparation was very helpful, without being too time consuming. The dive itself was exciting, without being scary. Being so close to half a dozen huge sharks, many rays, and schools of big fish, in a safe, controlled environment was quite a thrill!
